Rome is Burning! (With Grease[Greece])

Acropolis

Greece (Rome's precursor) will fall! And who does the dictatorship of EU (Europe) fall upon? - Germany! - Something Hitler couldn't do, and Merkel - without killing one person has ascended to European Power, and unchallenged!

[One side note: From the formation of the State of Israel (Israeli Nukes were heavily rooted in Germany) until today, Germany has created and sustained Israel! and from this World Jewry [!], as Zionism implemented is massive; while the destruction of Iran is being issued by and made POSSIBLE by Germany and the new submarines!  It is a previous Lubavitcher Rebbe that said Amalek can even get a Tikkun, upon which the Gra says Germany is a form Amalek (see WWII). The Gra goes on and explains how Amalek "swaps" and is germinating within the Jews; one Amalekite of the Nations joins while one Jew [at a time] inter-marries out: hence, the "swap." From this point the Ramchal talks about the "Keil" of the Samech Mem latches onto Holiness. Amalek only exists by their ability to "change form" and "swap." Kabbalistically, there is an inyan how penimius and chetzonius works with Klippah and Kedusha; the Penimius of both is in a swap, to which the Gra says: the war with the Erev Rav / Katan [Amalek] is the most bitter! - As Klippah and Kedusha become perverted!

So here you have Europe, Greece, and Rome at large falling, while Germany is rising? Jews are doing Teshuva, while "Torah Judaism" is claiming you are a Kofer if you are reading this blog! (Asifa! and yet the ENTIRE frum World is still somehow connected despite the complaints [rooted in hypocrisy]) The question is: what is reality, Worldly and Torah for the matter?!

We need to open our eyes, get educated, and see that Torah is going on all around us; its not even ironic, rather its SUPERNATURAL!

Yahoo.com:

As European leaders grapple with how to preserve their monetary union, Greece is rapidly running out of money. Government coffers could be empty as soon as July, shortly after this month’s pivotal elections. In the worst case, Athens might have to temporarily stop paying for salaries and pensions, along with imports of fuel, food and pharmaceuticals. Officials, scrambling for solutions, have considered dipping into funds that are supposed to be for Greece’s troubled banks. Some are even suggesting doling out i.o.u.’s. Greek leaders said that despite their latest bailout of 130 billion euros, or $161.7 billion, they face a shortfall of 1.7 billion euros because tax revenue and other sources of potential income are drying up. A wrenching recession and harsh budget cuts have left businesses and individuals with less and less to give for taxes — and growing incentive to avoid paying what they owe. The budget gap is widening as the so-called troika of lenders — the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank and the European Commission — withholds 1 billion euros in bailout money earmarked for government financing while it waits to see whether new leaders elected June 17 will honor Greece’s commitments. Even if the troika delivers that money, Greece will struggle to cover its obligations. It underscored a harsh reality that is playing out in other troubled euro zone economies. Prolonged austerity is making it harder, not easier, for governments like Greece to become self-reliant again. A top Spanish official acknowledged on Tuesday that Spain could not readily return to the markets to raise money because investors are demanding such high rates, highlighting how the debt crisis is spreading to larger economies in Europe. Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany said a day earlier that European leaders needed to find a way to create the political union that the world is looking for to complement their monetary union. European officials took a small step in that direction Tuesday by proposing a central authority for banking regulation, which would require countries to give up a bit of cherished sovereignty. An essential element of Greece’s recovery plan has been to collect more taxes from a population that has long engaged in tax avoidance. The government is owed 45 billion euros in back taxes, tax officials in Athens said, only a fraction of which will ever be recovered. To understand the difficulty, just talk to Nikos Maitos, a longtime official in Greece’s financial crimes investigation unit. When he and a team of inspectors recently prowled the recession-hit island of Naxos for tax evaders, a local radio station broadcast his license plate number to warn residents. “One repercussion of the crisis is that people are harder to find,” Mr. Maitos, an imposing, burly man, said last week in his sweltering office on the edge of Athens. “And when you do find them, they don’t have money.” Even tax collectors, who have had to take large pay cuts, find that budget reductions make it hard to pay for the gasoline needed to reach their targets. “After two and a half years of austerity, it’s really a difficult time to bring in revenue,” said Harry Theoharis, a senior official in the Greek Finance Ministry who helps oversee the country’s tax payment system. “You can’t keep flogging a dead horse.” Salaries and pensions in the private and the public sectors have been cut by up to 50 percent, leaving Greece 495 million euros short of its revenue targets in the four months ended in April, according to the Greek Finance Ministry. With less cash, consumers have curbed spending, leading thousands of taxpaying businesses to fail. Income expected from a higher, 23 percent value-added tax required by the bailout agreement has fallen short by around 800 million euros in the first four months of 2012. That is partly because cash-short businesses that were once law-abiding have started hiding money to stay afloat, tax officials said. Greece’s General Accounting Office said recently that the state collected 25 percent less revenue in May than it did a year earlier. And the state has had to slash its goal of raising 50 billion euros from privatizations to just 3 billion euros as foreign investors lose interest. That has left a caretaker government scrambling for a Plan B. One thought is to take billions of euros reserved for recapitalizing Greek banks, which have suffered from a flight of deposits amid political uncertainty and fears that Greece may abandon the euro for its own currency. But using that money would require the troika’s approval. Other notions, like i.o.u.’s and scrip, so far are only that — ideas. To some extent, government officials said the tax-avoiding mentality is starting to change amid an aggressive enforcement campaign aimed at 500 wealthy individuals and companies, including former ministers and heads of state agencies and enterprises. People took notice in April when a former defense minister was arrested on charges of corruption and making false declarations related to his income and taxes. “They are awed when they see inspectors now because of recent cases showing people will be prosecuted or made to pay,” Mr. Maitos said. Tax collectors got another potential lift recently when the government started enforcing a 1995 law that gives them access to bank accounts of suspected tax evaders. But Nikos Lekkas, a top official at the financial crimes agency where Mr. Maitos works, said Greek banks had obstructed nearly 5,000 requests for account data since 2010. “The banks delay sending the information for 8 to 12 months,” he said. “And when they do, they send huge stacks of documents to make it confusing. By the time we can follow up, much of the money has already fled.” In the past two years, the agency managed to assess back taxes worth 650 million euros on 210 of the cases, he said. But only 65 percent could be collected. One challenge lies in what Mr. Lekkas calls the big fish — 18,300 offshore businesses belonging to wealthy Greek individuals and companies. Authorities are trying to trace the owners through property records, and they recently seized several large properties linked to offshore companies whose owners owe tens of millions of euros to the state. That leaves collectors having to go after mostly smaller tax evaders, often with mixed results. During a surveillance trip on the resort island of Santorini, Mr. Maitos said he and two colleagues observed a gas station owner insisting on cash-only transactions to avoid declaring taxes. When confronted, the man lashed at them with a bullwhip while cursing the state for taking his money. Officials said things might improve drastically once Greece’s entire tax system is computerized, a move that is supposed to be completed by the end of this year. Charalambos Nikolakopoulos, the head of the Greek tax collectors’ union, said there was no need for outsiders to straighten things out. “Yes, we need change,” Mr. Nikolakopoulos said. “But things will only improve in Greece when we get a stable government that will impose its political will.”

The Third Temple: Technology Of God

The Redemption will come by the hands of the Four Craftsmen: Shem, Eliyahu, Moshiach ben Yosef, and Moshiach ben David. They are called Craftsmen due to their contributions in building the Third Temple. This building is very likely the craftsmanship in Light, as it is expected that the Messianic Temple will reach Earth and Zion from Shamayim.

The Prophecy of Ezekiel fits the description of the Building being of a "Craft" as the Nevuah is very specific in its measurements; It's construction is based on the diligence in its craft, and thus is it's revelation [to the World.]

When the Torah says that the World will be filled with Knowledge of God, is the Temple a sort of Spiritual Energy that will literally emanate Holiness into the World based on its design in conjunction with it's location on the Temple Mount; Thus "Tzion" makes this dynamic?

The Concept being described here is the same theory is that of the Pyramids all over the World; all functioning in the same way, implying that Man can harness Shefa (bring it down from Shamayim) by building on specific Lands. This would be Spiritual Technology going back to Shem and Pre-Flood, however what makes it Holy is when it is based on Tzedek (i.e. Third Temple consciousness) as Shem only had his merit based on Chesed and Tzedaka.

From the Time of Adam HaRishon, the World has a natural grid to it, flowing Raqiyah's (firmaments) which allow the World to be seen openly as a Creation of God; a microcosm of the Universe (much like the Temple.) This is true to the saying, "Man is a small World the World is a big Man.

When Holiness is on Earth, and Jerusalem is rebuilt, then Man can cultivate the World, into a vessel of Divine Shefa, making it a sort of Divine Technology, yet not from exploitation. The Jews in Egypt were this exploitation with their knowledge doubling as a tool with which they should build as well. Thus being in Eretz Yisrael and building the Temple is paramount to the World's restoration. With Torah influence, the Orlah can be removed from the World, which in Reality, this Orlah (over-growth) is technology of exploitation.

Ancient Egypt (with its Jewish influence to learn from) can be a message (albeit from exploitation) of how the World can radiate when built correctly, and perhaps this is an aspect of what the Third Temple will bring us, and bring the World.

Here is a 6-Part series describing the concept : "Ancient Technology"

I highly recommend watching all 6 videos if you have time; follow the links through the video by means of Youtube.

Is '72 the Year that balance is restored with a revival of Spirituality? The veil over our eyes couldnt be any thicker, so perhaps Hashem will circumcize our Hearts as predicted in the Navi.

A Sage Has Died: Torah Of Erev Rav - Armilos

Benzion Netanyahu

Zionism and Israeli Politics are not developments in thought, rather they are deeply rooted in theology of Erev Rav, Idolotry of the Land of Israel, and the desecration of Moshe Rabbeinu. When the Erev Rav came out of Egypt, they had one thing in mind: Zion.

Today's politics [and Palestinian] is merely composed of debates and strategy in Torah of Klippah.

Topics with undertones consisting of Moses' Grave, Borders of Israel, Direction of the Jewish People, all comprise the theology of the Erev Rav called Zionism. Moses brought them out of Egypt, for as we see today it is a guarantee of an eventual Redemption, even if over a long period of time; consider it an algorithm of Time/Redemption Ratio. The Spies were a similar breed: the Loshon HaRah of the Land will end up producing a love of the Land, a return to the Land (and cleansing; i.e. today's Zionism), and a final Redemption once Evil has run its course.

Holiness manipulating Klippah is not new, as Abraham was the master of it, and Moses has worked it into a scheme of Redemption, even after his death and while in Exile outside of the Land. However, The Erev Rav believe they are the Truth as opposed to a temporary necessary evil to the cleanse the Land, as they are fulfilling their purpose of their having coming out of Egypt. Today's Zionism and Politics within Israel is the Torah of the Land that they connect to, theologize, and worship. It is the Avodah Zara of the Land that they always anticipated from the tie that they came out with the Jews, and now is their time.

Thus Today's Reality is not chaos or random; rather it is a crafty scheme rooted in the depths of Tumah and Avodah Zara, while Hashem uses this vessel to cleanse the Land, as a precursor to the sending of Elijah, as it says, "Lest I strike the Land."

In the wake of coming out of the Exile, we are experiencing the Orlah and Klippah of the Fruit; thus before the Land is acquired, we are ridding it of its Evil, such as Hashem commanded Joshua. If they didn't do it then when commanded with Moses and Joshua, Hashem has it arranged that the Erev Rav will do the job, while believing that they in fact are Holy, much like Ishmael believes what he is doing is Holy in a counter-attack, thus Galus Yishmael is essential and crucial against the Erev Rav. (i.e. countering with "Border Patrol" and mitigation of Erev Rav takeover beyond its intent - much like the Nachash in Gan Eden)

Bibi's father is dead; an authentic incarnation of this necessary evil, one who has taught over to Bibi the secrets of authentic Erev Rav. Where we go from here is a question, but Bibi, for whatever its worth, has finished his education from an Erev Rav master.

The Erev Rav is a Klippah, one that "one can see through" ( how many connotations does this idiom contain?) It is no surprise that Bibi has this to say of his father: "I learned from you to look into the future."

May Benzion's death be a sign of the death of the Erev Rav to come, and a precursor to Messianic Times in Holiness with the loss of Evil, Coming to The Land of Israel, and finding Melech Moshiach (Moshe as the Goel Acharon) as predicted by the Zohar.

Hopefully the Erev Rav are close to having served their purpose; that purpose that Moshe brought them out of Egypt, to be a tool in acquiring the Land of Israel in a worst-case scenario. Well, it was a worst-case scenario, the longest route was taken, and we should be close to the End.

If we can "see through Erev Rav" - then what does it say that through their evil, all we see is Geulah? Much like the God-Particle in science, is the only place on Earth that actively seeks God (ironically), then perhaps its the Erev Rav that is the most active in seeking Moshiach.

..."The Para Adumah": From Tumah comes Purity.

Erev Rav wanting Geulah is called Armilos - a distorted Redemption that is eternal exile. As the Gra says, Moshiach Ben Yosef will live, and see the downfall of Armilos, and usher in Moshiach ben David, when death will be swallowed up for good.

May it be in these days...

JPost.com:

Benzion was a prominent Revisionist Zionist activist in the US, served as secretary to Ze'ev Jabotinsky, was a writer and editor; Yacimovich to PM: Your father was unique, he left a deep imprint on Israeli society. Photo: REUTERS/POOL New Benzion Netanyahu, father of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, died early Monday morning at the age of 102. The Labor and Meretz parties withdrew their no-confidence votes in the Knesset, out of respect for the prime minister. Benzion Netanyahu had been a prominent Revisionist Zionist activist in the US, had served as secretary to Ze'ev Jabotinsky, and was a writer and editor. He died at the age of 102. The senior Netanyahu was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1910, and was a historian and a professor emeritus at Cornell University. He lived in Jerusalem when he died. He married Tzila Segal in 1944, and remained married until her death in 2000. Benzion was father to three sons with Segal: Yonatan Netanyahu, a Sayeret Matkal commander who was the sole Israeli casualty during the successful operation to free hundreds of hostages in Entebbe, Uganda who were taken aboard a hijacked airplane, Iddo Netanyahu, a radiologist and writer, and Binyamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel. He was secretary to Ze'ev Jabotinsky, a Revisionist Zionist leader credited with fathering the movement in the United States. At a party to celebrate his father's 100th birthday, the Jewish Chronicle quoted the prime minister as having said: "I learned from you to look into the future." Knesser speaker Reuven Rivlin told Israel Radio that "Bibi learned the pure Zionism from a man who was so close to Jabotinsky," adding that the prime minister "was educated in a home where Zionism was a Zionism with no compromise... though Bibi's realpolitik was much more developed." "Professor Netanyahu was an important scholar, both profound and original," Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar said of the late Netanyahu. "His wide research on the [Spanish] Marranos and the Inquisition period was revolutionary, and has important historical value." Sa'ar said Benzion was Zionist to the core, adding that he was the "outstanding pupil of Herzl and Jabotinsky." Labor Party leader Shelly Yacimovich sent her condolences to the prime minister, writing that "we all have only one father. And in your case, we are talking about a unique man, distinguished historian, an ideologue and an intellectual who left a deep imprint on Israeli society. Benzion served as the executive director of the New Zionist Organization of America during the 40s, making him a prominent Revisionist Zionist activist in the United States. He became the chief editor of the Encyclopedia Hebraica during his stay in Israel. He was also editor of the group's biweekly US publication, Zionnews, where he authored editorials that typically dealt with the latest Palestine-related political developments and controversies. In one editorial that Benzion wrote, on the occasion of the springtime Passover holiday, Benzion contemplated how the suffering of the Jews could never separate them from their faith or extinguish their hopes: “Through oceans of blood, our blood, through oceans of tears, our tears, hated, persecuted, beaten, wandering and homeless, we assemble at the Pessah Seder to thank God for our liberation from Egypt, and to express once again the hope of the Haggada: ‘This year we are still slaves – next year we shall be free men.’” "Only a nation of our spiritual caliber could come through the ages of unparalleled sufferings with its spirit unbroken; still alive; still striving for liberty. Next year we shall be free men,” he opined.

May Zionism give way (and die with Benzion) to The True Torah of Moshe, and get rid of the Avodah Zara once and for all,

with the Bias Moshiach Tzidkenu (plural connotation): [Moshe V' Trein Moshichin ( Moshe and the Messiah's of David and Joseph)]

and the Building of the Third Temple - The True and only Zion!

Pesach - A New Time Revisited?

Time
Let me introduce you to something I have been following for some time: Timewave Zero Theory.

Terence Mckenna was a philosopher, who was thought to have extracted the algorithm of time from the World's wisdom and implemented it onto a computer generated program that he termed "Timewave Zero."

The premise being, that Time is expressed within Wisdom (of the 7 Wisdom's of which the Gra says is compatible with Torah), and can be expressed in many ways. The philosopher, saw that with the I-Ching, which was the fortune device of the Ancient East, was not really a fortune device at all, rather it was a wisdom of coded time, that upon manipulation could double as, "fortune." Yet if one were to "decode" its Wisdom, it could reveal a sequence of Fractal (reiterating) Time; revealing that Time, although spiritual, leaves its imprint upon Mankind from perception and the subconscious.

Terence Mckenna then worked the algorithm onto a computer that mapped Time. What he found, was that Time is very mapable and expresses in detail reality from the a perspective of Time. What is even more interesting, is that it works especially well and acurate within the framework of Jewish Time; Jewish Time being the objective observation point of Creation.

What the chart shows, is that Time has ebb and  flow; ups and downs; times of complexity and times of change. All very Jewish concepts within Torah Learning.

The Time Fractal, much like any Time-Prediction Art, has an End Time of its algorithm as well, coinciding with the end of 2012, aligning well with Zohar and other Wisdoms; revealing that maybe Time really is a Wisdom and not random.

As we trek into the end of 2012, there is a massive shift into Novelty from the Time Wave, coinciding with Motzie Pesach of this year. It should be noted that Time Wave Zero is most often perfectly accurate within Jewish Time. Thus this Pesach, the World descends into Absolute Novelty/Change racing towards the end of the Fractal, which comes out near the 10th of Teves. The Gra in Sifra D'Tzniusa offers a hint to this time period, of which he calls, The Malchus of Yesod.

Will Pesach bring about change in consciousness from Time's perspective? Does Time shift after Pesach?
The Talmud says that Pesach is the time of the Beis Hamikdash to descend from Shamayim - will we witness some element of the Geulah this Pesach? Is now the Time?

Does the theoretical Galus China have a spark of Holiness that susatins it that needs to be returned - "Time?"

Time Wave Zero:

The Timewave theory, put forth by Terence McKenna [right], is further complicated by the fact that he is dead, and that much of what he learned about the theory is alleged to have come to him during shamanic visionary states while he was living in the Amazon jungle. Hmmm.
But The Timewave Theory is perhaps the hottest topic on the internet today. Many reputable scientists and physicists have embraced it. It has broken the barriers between esoteric philosophy and pragmaticism. And, as you will see, its discovery is predicted within the theory itself.
Lots of trendy websites have given summaries of McKenna's theories, especially as they relate to 2012, but hardly anyone has explained the theory in a logical way. Since that is my raison d'etre here on viewzone, I will attempt to do this now.
The biography of Terence McKenna is fascinating and certainly worth exploring, but I will leave that for later. Our story begins in China about 4000 years ago with a phenomenon called the I-Ching.
The I-Ching
The Chinese people are great at understanding abstractions. Their writing consists of symbols that suggest an idea or concept rather than phonetic sounds, like English. With hundreds of different dialects spoken in China, often people living in a neighboring village cannot understand the spoken language of their countrymen. Although the sounds and phonetics may vary, the written Chinese symbols are understood by everyone. Why is this important?
The I-Ching is a system for what the Western mind would call "fortune telling." But instead of being able to tell you who you will marry, when you will die or next week's lottery numbers, the I-Ching predicts the pattern of events which will govern and shape your destiny. It's an abstract vignette of a universal influence for a specific block of time.
In the I-Ching, there are patterns which are composed of six possibilities, represented by either a broken line (yin) or a solid line (yang). By simple mathematics it is easy to understand that two possible patterns, expressed in a matrix of six (called a hexagram), yield a possibility of exactly 64 different hexagrams.
Typically, if you are in Asia and engage the I-Ching, you will toss a coin six times and record the heads or tails (yin or yang) and arrive at one of these 64 hexagrams. By referencing the Book of I-Ching, you will be able to ascertain the flow of events that governs your present and future life. The results will not be specific -- it's more of a kind of weather report describing the outcome of your actions.
So why is this important to the Timewave Theory? It's not, really. The I-Ching is a kind of parlor game that evolved from something deeper and more significant. The true basis of the I-Ching was understood many thousands of years ago and was lost in centuries of ignorance and political upheaval -- that is until Terence McKenna accidentally stumbled upon it in the 1970s.
The hexagrams
Examining the King Wen I-Ching hexagrams, McKenna noticed an obvious pattern. The first hexagram contains six solid lines. Hexagram number two has six broken lines. Hexagrams 3 and 4 appear to be similar pairs that have been rotated 180 degrees. The same is true for most of the other hexagrams -- they are pairs in which the second hexagram has been rotated 180 degrees.

McKenna noticed that sometimes, when a hexagram was supposed to be rotated, the rotation would not change the configuration. An example of this can be seen in hexagram 27. It also is the case with seven other hexagrams (#1, 2, 28, 29, 30, 61 and 62). When this happens there is a different rule that applies. The following hexagram is exactly opposite -- the yins become yangs and visa versa.
McKenna then focused his attention on the number of lines that changed in each subsequent hexagram, moving from the first to the sixty-fourth. From hexagram 1 to 2 there were six changed lines, from hexagram 2 to 3 there were two, then four, and four again...
He plotted these changes on a graph and arrived at a unique pattern.

But he didn't make much sense out of this. He needed to understand why the I-Ching was made of six lines and why was it arranged in pairs that were rotated 180 degrees. The breakthrough came when he noticed that the extreme left and right of the graph contained a saw-tooth pattern. If he copied the graph, rotated it 180 degrees and superimposed it on the original graph it meshed perfectly "like the dove tail of a cabinet maker."

To incorporate the six lines, McKenna repeated this new graph six times and superimposed it on the single plot. To incorporate the phenomenon of "pairs" of hexagrams, he repeated the pattern two times and superimposed it on the other two graphs. Eventually he arrived at a complex shape containing all three graphs. But what did this mean?

With a computer it was possible to combine the peaks and valleys and arrive at an average graph (see math at http://www.fractal-timewave.com/math_twz.htm), representing the change of the 64 hexagrams and, as McKenna believed, revealing the secret encoded in their original design. This graph has become known as the Timewave.
Confused?
It is difficult for a Western mind to comprehend abstracts. In our everyday lives we ignore things that don't have immediate relevance, yet we do have many abstracts that we take for granted. Good and evil, light and darkness, love and hate -- these are opposite abstracts that we would have difficulty describing without using both words in the pair. Good is the absence of evil, darkness is the absence of light. Even in physics we have matter and anti-matter, positive and negative charges...
In Asian Taoism philosophy the concept of opposing phenomena is represented by the Yin and Yang. Both are always present in everything, yet the amount of influence of each varies over time.
The nature of yin-yang
In Taoist philosophy, yin and yang arise together from an initial quiescence or emptiness (wuji, sometimes symbolized by an empty circle), and continue moving in tandem until quiescence is reached again. For instance, dropping a stone in a calm pool of water will simultaneously raise waves and lower troughs between them, and this alternation of high and low points in the water will radiate outward until the movement dissipates and the pool is calm once more. Yin–yang, thus, are always opposite and equal qualities. Further, whenever one quality reaches its peak it will naturally begin to transform into the opposite quality: grain that reaches its full height in summer (fully yang) will produce seeds and die back in winter (fully yin) in an endless cycle.
It is impossible to talk about yin or yang without some reference to the opposite, since yin–yang are bound together as parts of a mutual whole. A race with only men or only women would disappear in a single generation; but men and women together create new generations that allow the race they mutually create (and mutually come from) to survive. The interaction of the two gives birth to things. Yin and yang transform each other: like an undertow in the ocean, every advance is complemented by a retreat, and every rise transforms into a fall. Thus, a seed will sprout from the earth and grow upwards towards the sky - an intrinsically yang movement. Then when it reaches its full potential height it will descend.
The individual lines of the I-Ching are made up of both Yin (broken lines) and Yang (solid lines). The concept of change and balance is inherent in the hexagrams. McKenna understood that his final graph must contain the "fingerprint" of change contained in time itself.
The peaks represent the abstraction of "stasis" or habitual stability, while the valleys represent novelty or change.
Fractals anyone?
A fractal is a shape produced by plotting mathematical data which repeats whether viewed on a macro or micro scale. McKenna realized that his Time Wave had this special characteristic. The entire graph, representing the beginning and end of time, can be seen duplicated when one looks at a smaller span of time.

In the example above the same pattern can be seen for plotting two differnt eras. The bottom plot spans almost 150 years while the top plot spans about 1.5 years.
The drama of novelty and habit plays out, according to the Timewave, in a specific and orderly pattern. Because this pattern is a fractal, the ups and downs of the timewave apply equally to a long epoch, like the emergence of life on our panet, and a short epoch, like the lifetime of an individual.
McKenna liked to joke about this phenomenon in his lectures. He would use the example of the fall of the Roman Empire, saying that it followed the same pattern -- habit and novelty -- as when he vacuumed his living room.
Understanding this "fractal" concept makes it easier to understand why the I-Ching was used to predict the outcome of current events in Chinese philosophy. If one could learn where on the Timewave they were then they could infer whether novelty or habit were in play.
Time compression
As the Timewave pattern moves through time, the fractals become smaller and smaller. What took eons of time to complete next takes only thousands of years, then hundreds, then days, minutes, seconds. As we approach the zero point on the grand Timewave, waves of novelty and habit change more rapidly. This can appear chaotic to our sense of time but it is because the very pattern of time IS speeding up.
Indeed the knowledge and understanding that we have accomplished in the last hundred years of civilization far surpasses the achievements of many thousands of years before. It is not so surprising then that the Timewave theory should be discovered, or perhaps re-discovered, at this fast paced era near the end of time.
What is novelty?
Novelty is characterized by increased activity and options. For humans, this usually follows some great discovery or event which changes our behavior. Imagine an ant's nest where workers go about their daily routine of foraging for food. All of a sudden a sugar cube is dropped on the ant mound and suddenly the behavior of the nest changes to take advantage of this new opportunity. If the discovery is significant enough the ant colony may have enough food for many weeks, thereby ushering in a period of stability and wellbeing. Novelty ushers in stability and visa versa.
Novelty and stability may appear opposite but they are always present in time. The Timewave plots the move from one direction to the other. Moving up indicates a gradual increase in stability and organization while a downward curve shows that some new factors are influencing change. It's a continuous ebb and flow.

Will we see the World unite in ways of Eternal Novelty after unprecedented levels of Complexity?
