Jews: Weapons of God

Just as Science has its pros and cons: it can be used to understand the Universe or as a weapon, which can be used to destroy the Universe. The Jew functions the same way, that he fights to save the World, yet one of his capabilities is to be a natural weapon. [Think: Secret of Chanukkah]

UPI.com:

Amid a flurry of warnings that Lebanon and Hezbollah will be hammered in any new conflict, the Israeli military unveiled a new 120mm tank shell said to be able to penetrate reinforced targets, including in populated areas. "Such a capability -- to accurately target terrorists hiding inside homes -- is believed to be crucial for the army as it faces future conflicts with Hezbollah and Hamas, both terrorist groups which embed themselves within civilian infrastructure," The Jerusalem Post reported. In the same edition, the daily's military correspondent, Yaakov Katz, quoted senior defense officials as saying that "Israel will attack Lebanese government targets during a future war with Hezbollah." This blitzkrieg, it says, would be triggered by retaliatory attacks on Israel by the heavily armed, Iranian-backed Shiite movement if Israel launches pre-emptive strikes against Iran's nuclear facilities. The report was headlined "Lebanese targets fair game in war with Hezbollah." In 2006, the Israelis said they deliberately didn't target Lebanese facilities since the Beirut government didn't support Hezbollah. But now Hezbollah dominates the government, the Israelis say all bets are off. "It was a mistake not to attack Lebanese government targets during the Second Lebanon War in 2006," one senior officer said. "We will not be able to hold back from doing so in a future war." This is known as the "Dahiya Doctrine," after the Israeli air force's relentless bombing of the Dahiya district in south Beirut during that 34-day conflict. Only next time it will much, much worse. Suburban Dahiya was considered to be the nerve center of the Hezbollah leadership and large areas were flattened. The reports about the new shell developed by Israel Military Industries is one of several recent instances of Israeli authorities saying the military's ready to unleash massive strikes not just against Hezbollah, on the Jewish state's northern border, but Palestinian militants in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip to the south. A 20,000-strong Israeli force invaded Gaza Dec. 27, 2008, to crush Hamas and its allies in a 22-day battle that led to a global outcry against the Jewish state and allegations of war crimes. Some 1,400 Palestinians, 960 of them civilians, were killed and thousands wounded. Damage totaled $2 billion. Some 5,000 homes were destroyed. Israeli casualties were 13 killed, 10 of them by friendly fire. Israeli newspapers have reported how the army, still smarting from being fought to a humiliating standstill by Hezbollah's outgunned irregulars in 2006, plans to deploy special units go after the Hezbollah is in the elaborate defense networks they've constructed since 2006. Last week, the army rehearsed dropping ammunition and other supplies, even Humvees, from Lockheed Martin C-130 transports to "forces operating deep behind enemy lines." Newspapers reported that Israeli troops will be equipped with new miniature backpack radars with a range of only a few miles to detect hostile forces on the ground. Combat infantry battalions are equipped with unmanned aerial vehicles, such as the Skylark I and Skylark II developed by Elbit Systems, for tactical surveillance. Chief of Staff Lt. Gen Benny Gantz is reported to be carrying out surprise inspections of army brigades and air force bases to check on readiness, dreaming up emergencies to determine his forces' reaction times. Gantz, who became Israel's top soldier in February 2011, has a background in special operations and is keen on mounting covert ops. In December he set up a unit known as Deep Corps for deep penetration operations and has put officers with unconventional warfare experience in command positions for the next conflict. He's also put much greater emphasis on cyberwarfare, not just for conventional enemies like Iran and Syria but for irregular forces like Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and others. Hezbollah figures high on this list because for the last few years it has been constructing an elaborate network of secure communications, much of it using fiber optics, impervious to Israeli penetration. This links its forward military units in south Lebanon, with command centers in Beirut and the movement's stronghold and logistics center in the Bekaa Valley of northeastern Lebanon on the Syrian border. Another invasion of Gaza is also in the cards. Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich warned in March that the next Israel operation there "will be more violent than previous rounds."

Mayan Calendar? Ask A Jewish Mayan!

Mayan Time is Like Zohar Time?
                                          2 Times, One Jew

The Zohar seems to align with certain aspects of the Mayan beliefs of Time - and I don't doubt that it was a Yid, perhaps of Zvulon and Yissasschar ( naval travelers of the Tribes and calendar experts for Israel ) that gave over the Wisdom of Time with knowledge of the End (much the same way that the Gra was able to claim to have figured out the End, but adjured others not to reveal it.)
Hence, the Mayan calendar is an immitation of the Zohar Wisdom.
-Or-
Can the pathways of thought simply navigate constructs of Time, much like Terence Mckenna has claimed to achieve? (BTW he comes to the same conclusions as well)

*Time terminology doubles as very Kabbalistic, thus the Zohar's employment of Time Scenarios makes sense. [Tanna D' Bei Eliyahu - "Ibur" of months and "Tekufot" are the basis of Kabalah, as they specialize in "Binah"]

Here is a more "Jewish" rendition of Mayan Time explained: [Jewish, in that Jewish Time works in "Periods (Tekufot) of Time" rather than "Points of Time."]

**One Strong Jewish element present within Mayan Time, is that there is no concept of total destruction; Jewish Belief of the Messianic Era is the same in this way, ie there is no "End of The World" in either Wisdom. This shouldn't be a chiddush, but the rest of the World doesn't seem to get this point.

2012: An opportunity to renew our kinship with Creation

“Human beings are not cosmic, they are cosmos.”
Tlakaelel

On May 20, 2012 at the pyramid of Chichen Itza the Sun will enter a zenith position in the sky. Unseen, the star cluster Xinachtli or Pleaides enter the same position and together travel towards the womb of the galaxy (dark area just above the center line) for an alignment that culminates on December 12, 2012. This early alignment will occur during May at different times across Ixachilan and will mark the completion of several cycles over an 8 month period and in 2013 we will enter a new era for humankind.

The subject of 2012 was picked up by New Age groups and individuals sometime after the year 2000, draping it with mysticism but also doing some earnest research around it. Sadly, research done and knowledge held by traditional groups on this continent was not popularized nor expanded beyond each specific community.

Maestro Mazatzin, a Tonalpouaki (solar count keeper) in his own right, has been traveling around Abya Yala (Americas) informing the public of an event that is grounded in astronomy and the type of science practiced by our ancestors. His efforts recently prompted the San Francisco authorities to declare the Mexica (Aztec) New Year as an officially recognized city celebration.

In the mean time,  2012 for the most part remains distorted in a shroud of pie in the sky mysticism filled with mediocre books on spirituality that have nothing to do with ancient ways of measuring time. Included in this information is Hollywood, which gave us an entertaining disaster film by the name 2012.

Tonal Machiotl

In actuality, our calendars, Nahua and Maya, are not static. They require periodic adjustments. For these adjustments they rely on synchronizing key cosmic and terrestrial cycles. These are natural phenomenon known to our ancestors thousands of years ago. The Tonal Machiotl (Solar Consciousness) has been described as a “model of kinship with Creation.” The purpose of tracking and recording of Creation’s cycles into just a scientific activity, it is for us to continue walking in synch with the Cosmos, to be a relative with Mother Nature. The coming together of key cycles in the Tonal Machiotl, as they are in 2012 are important for all seeking to walk the Natural Path or Red Road.

Teoxihuitl: year of Creation

Mother Creation is a cyclical motion unfolding in time. Her motions are cyclical, they repeat and through their repetition that we learned to find our relation among the cycles and integrate the cycles of own species into the family of Creation. As Earth moves around the sun, She wobbles and this wobble causes a slight shift in Her position. When measured in relation to the Milky Way Galaxy, She completes a wobbling rotation approximately every 26,000 years. This cycle is known as Teoxihuitl. In 2012 Earth will have completed a 26,000 year cycle and of course begin another. This is called precession by western astronomers and causes Earth to periodically change North Star. Another practical purpose in dividing Earth wobble cycle into five parts is that there are different stars in the galaxy which “take turns” becoming the North Star. Currently that position is held by Polaris, soon it will be Thuban. During the 26,000 year cycle or teoxihuitl, the North Star changes five times. In this new era we will witness the change in North Star’s from Polaris to Thuban.

Tlayolcayotl

Every 5,125 years the Sun aligns with a dark area just above the center of Mixcoatl (Milky Way), this is a return to the universal womb. A misnomer of 2012 is that the Sun aligns at the galactic center---the Sun arrived there at the beginning of the 21st century. This cycle is used to divide the Teoxihuitl into five parts, each part representing an era of humanity. On August 13---5,123 years ago began the era of Tlayolli (corn) or Tlayolcayotl, la forma del maiz. This date honors the moment when People of central Mexico entered into a covenant with a thistle like plant. This plant agreed to transform and feed the People but would lose her self-reproductive ability. Mexicans agreed that across the generations they would make sure she survived. Breaking the rules of biological evolution this thistle plant became the corn plant we know today. The end of this era, in which a world-wide civilization depends on corn, will be marked by two dates: August 13 and December 21, when the Sun aligns with the universal womb.

Tamoanchan: Tree of Life

The ancients saw the constellation which western astronomers call Cygnus, a representation of the tree of life, and 5,123 ago, as a corn plant. Five stars in the form of a cross are the prominent stars. Behind them is a star that has gone supernova, thus making the cross “glow.” On August 12-13 the “Perseids” meteor shower occurs. From our perspective, the meteorites seem to fall on the Tamoanchan, the tree of Life. In the era of corn, these represent the seeds falling into the ground from which a corn plant springs. They also represent the “watering” of the tree of Life. On August 13, 2012 the watering of the Tree, the planting of the seeds will take on a different meaning---the end of Tlayolcayotl, the era of Tlaolli, corn.

Xiuhcoatl: Xolotl-Tonatiuh

Venus was named Tezcaatlipoca-Xolotl-Quetzalcoatl by our ancient astronomers. Because she orbits in a contrary motion of Earth’s orbit, Venus has been used to synchronize celestial cycles for thousands of years. Venus follows five patterns that repeat every 8 years. She also periodically “transits” the sun, moves between Earth and Sun and seems to glide across the Sun’s glowing surface. These transits occur in pairs. When they do happen they come 8 years apart. The last transit was in 2004. In the Mayan and Aztec Calendars 20 pairs of visible transits are one “Transit cycle” of Xolotl (Venus as she disappears into the sky). At sunset onJune 5, 2012 Xolotl will complete the 20th Transit pair in a cycle that takes 5,000 years. In the Aztec Calendar these pairs are represented by the two bars that separate each the 20 glyph-days.

Xinachtli-Teacatlipoca-Quetzalcoatl

Every 8 years this alignment happens 13 days after the Spring equinox. This alignment is what allowed our ancient astronomers to determine that the Evening Star (Tezcatlipoca) and the Morning Star (Quetzalcoatl) are one body---Venus. This alignment can be seen in the Tonal Machiotl as seven eyes around the horned-headdresses of Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca. In 2012, thirteen days after the Spring equinox we can witness this alignment.

Xinachtli-Mixcoatl

As the Xinachtli (Pleaides)leaves the Morning and Evening Stars, she will voyage towards another yet rare alignment with Mixcoatl (Milky Way) to become at one point Mixcoatl’s feathered headdress and then “rattles” of Mixcoatl’s tail. This event will also happen on the evening of the Winter solstice on 2012.

Nahui-Ollin: Zemanahuak

The seasons are a product of three cyclical motions: Earth’s orbit, Earth’s back and forth tilt, and the Moon. Earth’s back and forth tilt create an effect we name tropics, an imaginary line above and below the equator marking at which points Earth’s tilt downward stops (tropic of Cancer) and when her upward tilt stops (tropic of Capricorn). The Sun at Cancer is summer, at Capricorn it is winter. At the equator it is either Fall or Spring. The tropic lines do not stay still. They also follow a cycle of expanding and then contracting called obliquity. We are currently on a contracting phase. In 2012 Earth will be at a midpoint in her tropical cycle. Midpoints in cycles are important because they mark the beginning of the effects of that cycle, like reaching the peak of a mountain then sliding back down. In the Tonal Machiotl the symbol of Nahui-Ollin is used to track movement from solstice to equinox to solstice. Each of the four circle markers in this symbol have three concentric rings, to compensate for the expansion and contraction of the tropics.

Tloke Nauoke: giver of measurement and motion

This summary demonstrates that the “2012 phenomenon” is not a single astronomical event, which the New Age cottage industry has limited to December 21 and which NASA does not acknowledge as associated with Mesoamerican calendar calculations. Rather, what is to come are a series of five major astronomical events, a synchronicity to cycles.

April 3—Xinachtli (Pleaides) and Tezcatlipoca-Quetzacoatl alignment.

May 20—An eclipse will align at the zenith of the sky visible between the tropics. The Milky Way’s center, the Pleiades, the Sun, the Moon, the Earth and the pyramid of Kukulcan will align on the day of the snake according to the Aztec Calendar.

June 5—Xiuhcoatl-Xolotl (Venus transit across the sun), sunset.

June 20—This solstice marks the Tropic of Canser at its midpoint of its 26,000 year cycle of the tropics.

July 3—Earth will be at her farthest distance from the sun. After that day She will gradually begin moving closer until this position becomes the start of Winter rather than summer, when she is closest to the sun.

August 13—Cuahitl Tamoanchan, the watering of the tree of Life, marking the 5,125 anniversary (and end) of the Tlayolcayotl.

December 21—Day: winter solstice, the Sun aligns to the universal womb, solstice marking the Tropic of Capricorn at its midpoint of a 26,000 year cycle, also called precession.

December 21--Night: Xinachtli (Pleaides) crowning Mixcoatl (Milky Way) and then becoming the Cloudsnake’s rattle.

Yancuic Ohtli: A new road ahead
In 1948 keepers and elders of the Nahuatlaca Tradition decided it was time that “our most precious treasure” resurface after centuries of having to remain underground and practiced in secrecy. Our ancestors left the Way for us to remain in kinship with Creation. The above described cycles comprise the phenomenon we have come to know as 2012 are part of that precious treasure. As people who seek to remain integrated into the cycles of Creation, these key times provide us the opportunity to continue and inform others about our Natural Way of Life, given to us by our ancestor and reflecting the extraordinary work and sacrifice they underwent for us not to have to “re-invent the wheel” in order to continue being Tloke Nauoke (That which is always becoming).

Obama [HaGog] vs. Zohar: Fine, I'm Not Coming!

Is Obama playing with perception? Does he do anything because it's just a good idea?
[without calculating how to manipulate thought patterns of the masses]

USnews.com:

Mr. Obama went to Washington, then to Cairo. But even as his likely campaign-trail foe and conservatives hammer him over his chilly relations with Israel, experts say Mr. Obama won't be going to Jerusalem any time soon.
Mitt Romney, who is close to securing the Republican nomination, has said President Barack Obama "chastised" Israel and has been soft on Iran, the Jewish state's biggest enemy. Romney says if voters send him to the White House, his first official overseas trip will be to Israel.
The conservative wing of the Republican Party also believes Obama has given short shrift to what experts say is still Washington's closest Middle Eastern ally. "Obama Hearts Israel ... Oh, Really?" blares a headline on the conservative-leaning Heritage Foundation's website.
In March, the president faced critics at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's annual conference in Washington to defend his record.
[See a collection of political cartoons on Iran.]
"Over the last three years, as president of the United States, I have kept my commitments to the state of Israel," Obama said. "At every crucial juncture, at every fork in the road, we have been there for Israel. Every single time."
Pro-Israel conservatives immediately blasted the president's remarks, but experts say Air Force One won't be touching down on Israeli soil this year. Here are three reasons why:
Strategy. Obama took office in 2009, and almost immediately took a harder stance toward Israel than recent U.S. presidents before him. He also went to Cairo for a seminal speech that was billed by the White House as offering an olive branch to the Arab world. "At the time, there were tensions between new presidents Obama and Netanyahu," says Nathan Brown of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, referring to Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu. "But if Obama had gone to Israel after the Cairo speech, it would have sent the opposite message to the Arab world than he intended.
Brown calls the lack of an Israeli trip "part of an overall approach" and adds, "if the president hasn't gone by now, he probably won't go--at least not this year."
Politics. Even if the president felt a need to travel across the Atlantic to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Netanyahu as Washington and Tel Aviv stare down Iran, a trip is highly unlikely. "The problem now is if you go, you look like you would be giving in to pressure," says Larry Korb of the Center for American Progress.
Some pundits have opined Obama's strategy will undercut his support among Jewish-American voters. Not so, says Brown.
"Most Jewish-Americans base their votes on a whole host of issues," says Brown. "Plus, the flavor of the GOP right now on cultural issues is no place for most Jewish-American voters. It is a big issue, however, for specific people. So the president might lose a very small share of what already is a very small share of the total electorate."
[Read Navy Adds Muscle in Middle East to Counter Iran.]
Heavy numbers of Jewish-American voters reside in Florida and New York. Experts say the Israeli issue won't be the determining factor in the Sunshine State, always a key swing state, come November. As for the Empire State, Brown quips: "Any Democratic president who loses New York isn't getting re-elected."
Precedent. There is something of a conventional wisdom that all American presidents are required to visit Israel. But that's not the case. Since Israel's creation in 1948, more U.S. presidents--including Obama--have opted against visiting the Jewish state. Four have made an official visit: Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush. Notably, Nixon and Bush went in their second terms. But seven U.S. presidents did not go: Harry Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, and Ronald Reagan.
"The way people perceive it is as soon as a president takes the oath of office, he goes right over there," says Korb. "But that's just not the case. Many presidents have instead let their secretary of state handle that trip."

...somehow [here's for all of you Star Trek fans] I don't think Tuvix is the solution Israel needs...but quite frankly "Hillama" probably fits the Zohar in the best possible way. How you might ask - I have no idea...it just seems right to me?! (sigh...)

Clinton taking the role of Gog? Daniel prophecy anyone? - Daniel 7:24:
"The ten horns (10 presidents since the inception of the state of Israel) are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings."
 (Place Obama and Clinton  here!)

[10 years ago it seemed obvious Clinton would make her run for president in 2008 - fitting for Daniel]

- So just throw them together and say she is his Shliach?
- Isn't that easier and more practical in alignment with the reality at hand?
- Joking aside, no worries, he'll be here at some time to live out his Imam Mahdi Messianic delusions of grandeur...as I don't think "Oballary" is the truth; sorry Star Trek fans.

Exploitation: The Art of The Enemy - Olam HaSheker

Exploitation: to take advantage of (a person, situation, etc), esp unethically or unjustly for one's own ends

We live in the World of Lies. One of the main contributions to Evil, and maybe even the biggest enemy of Peace and Harmony is the "art of exploitation."
Our Society is perfect in this day and age: health care, technology, entertainment, sports, knowledge, etc, etc.
In fact, the 7 Wisdoms have never been brighter in any time post flood. [...we can even argue that Yiddishkeit has never been greater, after all, everyone is a Rabbi these days, "oh boy!"]

But let's look a little closer

Football is a great sport, one that we have all grown to love. However there is football pre-2000's, and football post- 2000's. The difference being that the "pre" era is built seeking head hunting and advocating concussions...to the extent of former players going mad and even committing suicide. This may not be exploitation, rather a jolt of stupidity, yet the game is built on these conditions, and the players made relatively no money while owners became billionaires. In today's football, there are rules protecting the heads of players and players earn more, while we are led to believe that the sport is the same.
Boker Tov: it isn't.
Today there are so many rule and financial changes, that football of 1975 is foreign to football of 2012. The lesson learned? The empire that we of today call the NFL is built on exploitation, and now they are selling a cheap imitation. People complain, where is the old football? The answer is that it is lost in the exploits of time. Today's football is not the old football and the new football only makes billions of dollars due to the pioneers of exploitation and the exploited.

How about Physics? Killing innocent people to gain sacred technology for the future. Thus advanced Physics a product of exploitation. For the greatness of science to really come into the World in a Kosher way, shouldn't it be without exploitation? What we have is dirty football, dirty physics, "dirty wisdom."

Hollywood? Exploit people's weaknes's: photo shop, plastic surgery, etc..all to exploit the unaware that there is deception - like a reality show of David Copperfield...[and that is assuming that reality T.V. is real; it isn't]

Nike Shoes: We all love our Nikes, surely we deserve great footwear...at the expense of some Chinese kid getting paid a bowl of rice a day, so Americans can have the newest Air Jordans. Yes we should have great shoes..but why can't the jobs be in America if the shoes are for Americans; Americans could then maybe save up for their shoes?

Yiddishkeit: We are all rabbis today, Judaism has never thrived more! Everyone can now learn like a Gadol and there is no need for Yeshiva...Just learn Artscroll! Ironically, what does the Artscroll Shas say on its cover? ..."an AID to Talmud study"...but all of a sudden by reading in English what took the Rabbis of centuries to learn, can be done in a 20 minute daf yomi shiur...what happened to Amaylus (serious effort) of Torah? A product of exploiting the ignorance of Torah in the World.

The Dollar is doing better than ever; Praise the Stock Market!...how about exploitation of misinformation to the uninformed coupled with schemes of implementing hyper-inflation?

Every Wisdom has exploded to Gadlus with the advent of "perfected exploitation."

Welcome to the World of "Almost Real"..The World of Lies...Where Nun Shaarei Binah is being rivaled with Nun Shaarei Tumah.

Does this mean the Anti-Messiah (Armilos) will be that deceptive and successfull - to which the Vilna Gaon even said: if our forefathers were fooled by Ishmael and Esau..How much the more so in the End of Days!

This lie of lies is not new, as King Solomon said: "there is nothing new under the Sun"...as the Talmud speaks of the exploitations in the times of Chazal (one of the 10 martyrs for example, whose decapitated head was gazed upon for its beauty: beauty by exploitation)..only now we are in its latest incarnation: the end of Edom that has merged with Yishmael and flavored with the masters of deception: Erev Rav [and Katan]

Forbes.com:

Olympic Exploitation: The Sweatshops Making Adidas Clothes for The Games
Much indignation in The Independent about the conditions in the factories in Indonesia which are making the Adidas garments for the Olympics in London.
Yes, conditions are bad, yes, working hours are long and pay is low. There are also various promises that have been made about how everyone should be being very nice to the people who work in the factories.
There are things that are obviously wrong, like reports of bullying and physical violence. However, here’s the real information that we need to know about:
With just over 100 days to go before the Games begin, an investigation by The Independent has uncovered widespread violations of workers’ rights in Indonesia, where nine locally owned and managed factories have been contracted to produce Olympic shoes and clothing for Adidas – the official sportswear partner of London 2012 and of the British team.
While the German company – which unveiled its Stella McCartney-designed kit for British athletes last month – hopes to make £100m from its Olympic lines, the mainly young, female factory employees work up to 65 hours (25 hours more than the standard working week), for desperately low pay.
65 hours a week: yes, that’s certainly long working hours.
Workers struggle to survive on pay as low as 5,000 rupiah (34p) an hour……..Mirna works for PT Golden Castle, earning 8,125 rupiah (55p) an hour.
Yes, those are indeed low wages.
But here’s the thing. What does anyone expect poor people in poor countries to be doing? Other than working long hours for low pay that is? The is the definition of being poor, that you have to work long hours for low pay.
It’s worth actually calculating those numbers up. 65 hours a week at 34 p an hour for 52 weeks and convert to US dollars is $1,720 a year. $2,900 or so for the higher pay rate.
Agreed, these aren’t the sorts of numbers that are going to get you or I out of bed in the morning. But that’s not the point at issue: what are the alternatives available to these women in Indonesia?
One way of checking that is to look at GDP per capita for the country. Nominal GDP per capita is some $3,500 a year. Clearly and obviously the people living and working in the country cannot all, in aggregate, earn more than that GDP, not each individually more than the GDP per capita. Because GDP is the measure of everything that is produced that is then shared out in wages and profits and so on.
Those wages are in the range of 49% of GDP per capita to 83% of it. So is that a low or high range of numbers?
The equivalent GDP per capita number for the US is $48,200 or so. 49% of that is $23,618 and 83% is $40,000. No, none of us s going to think that those numbers represent great riches either: but they’re not a bad income either. They range from being well over double the US poverty line up to being a solid middle class income in many parts of the country.
So compared to how rich Indonesia is those sweatshop wages actually look pretty good. If we compare them to how rich the US is that is. It’s only when we look at the absolute amount of the wages that they seem so low. And I’m afraid that that just isn’t the right way to look at such wages. We need, always, to look at wages in comparison to what else is available to that person in that time and place. And getting 50 to 80% of GDP per capita for that time and place doesn’t make a job a bad one, it makes it rather a good one actually. For, again, that time and place not by any universal metric.
What we’re actually seeing with these wage rates is not that we are exploiting the workers in those sweatshops. Rather, we’re seeing that those workers have been failed by their own governments. For it is the poverty of the country in general that is causing the low wages and yes, economic growth is simple enough that the absence of it is that government’s fault.

One true element of the article, is that "Galus China" condones this! (and they certainly have the Manpower) - That just compounds the issue and weighs on one's conscious even more.
"On the path of emes one will still find Sheker!"

The World is pretty well advanced...but perhaps one should ponder - how did it get here? By what means? The Torah wants us to be comfortable, but from righteousness! צדק צדק תרדף!
This is the World of Lies.
Look Closer.
"Be Truth".
and Proceed.

Gog and [Gog and Gog and...] Magog

We heard that before [Gog?] Bush left office, he would for sure strike against Israel's enemies. Now we hear before elections, [Gog?] Obama will certainly strike Israel's enemies!?

SGVTribune.com:

Negotiations over Iran's nuclear program resume in Turkey this weekend, attended by delegates from the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council plus Germany. Not much is likely to happen. The big obstacle is this: The Iranians want a pocketful of nuclear weapons. Or, more to the point: The Iranians have always aspired to be the major power in their region. Several of the region's powers - Israel, Pakistan, and India - have nukes, so Iran wants some too. What many people are reluctant to admit is that Iran would want these nukes even if the country weren't run by mullahs. Back in the early 1970s, when President Richard Nixon stepped up foreign arms sales (in part to spread American influence in the Third World, in part to shore up the trade balance), Henry Kissinger told the shah of Iran that he could buy any weapon in the U.S. arsenal. The shah asked for a Polaris submarine, which carried 16 nuclear missiles. (Kissinger had to tone down the offer: any weapon except nukes.) Still, if Iran's leaders were Western-leaning democrats, their nuclear program would be less worrisome. In 2006, when India was openly seeking to expand its nuclear arsenal, President George W. Bush not only declined to protest, he sold Delhi the supplies (as part of a "global partnership" pact) and declared it to be "a responsible state with advanced nuclear technology" and thus eligible for the same benefits as a state that had signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (even though India was one of just three countries in the world that hadn't). Iranian leaders no doubt followed this story closely and drew from it the lesson that the United States was troubled not so much by Iranian nukes as by the Iranian regime. This being the case, if the Iranians' nuclear program has a military dimension (as it almost certainly does), one motive driving it is the old-fashioned doctrine of deterrence: They want a nuclear arsenal in part to deter their enemies, chiefly the United States and Israel, from launching an attack on their regime. None of this is to say that Iran's nuclear ambitions are purely defensive - or defensible. The danger, in large part, is the regime. It's not a good thing for weapons of mass destruction to wind up in the hands of messianic fundamentalists. Even so, it's extremely unlikely that a nuclear-armed Iran would one day, out of the blue, start dropping bombs or firing missiles at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. For one thing, whatever the status of Iran's nuclear-enrichment program, they are probably years away from turning an explosive device into a weapon, miniaturizing it to fit inside a warhead, and installing the warhead on top of a missile heavy enough to deliver it over a long distance with accuracy. For another thing, Israel is believed to possess up to 200 nuclear weapons. It's a reasonable guess that they are dispersed, heavily protected, some of them mobile, perhaps at sea, and connected to redundant command-control networks so that, even if the capital is destroyed, the surviving weapons can still be launched. In other words, if Iran lobs some nukes at Israel, Israel can be counted on to blow Iran to smithereens. The Iranian leaders surely know this: They may sponsor suicide bombers, but they're not suicidal themselves. There were several times during the Cold War when America's finely tuned radars mistook a flock of geese for a flight of Soviet missiles or when a software glitch produced a false warning of an attack. In all these instances, the leaders could afford to wait a bit to see how the signals panned out. According to David Hoffman's frightening book "The Dead Hand: The Untold Story of the Cold War Arms Race and Its Dangerous Legacy," there was an incident in 1983 when a Soviet early-warning satellite picked up signals of an American missile attack. The signal in this case was never straightened out; the system kept warning of an attack all the way until the point when the warheads would have exploded, had there really been an attack. Luckily, the Soviet lieutenant colonel at the monitoring station, thinking that this couldn't really be happening, decided - on his own authority - to tell his commander that it was a false alarm and, therefore, there was no need to launch the Soviets' own ICBMs. He was lying: According to the warning system, the attack was real. But by lying, he probably prevented World War III. It's not at all clear that an Iranian or Israeli officer would keep his cool under similar circumstances - especially if the false warning coincided with a diplomatic crisis or a military exercise or some other moment of extraordinary tension. The bad news is that, for the Iranians to give up such a high-profile trump card, they need to get something in return - a suspension of sanctions, a guarantee of security, something that's tangible and valuable. Is there some deal - even hypothetically - that is, at once, worthwhile to the Iranians and acceptable to the Israelis? That's the key question; it's hard to envision such a thing. In fact, if the Israelis really are intent on attacking the Iranian nuclear facilities, they're likely to do so before this November's American presidential elections. If they started an attack and needed U.S. firepower to help them complete the task, Barack Obama might open himself up to perilous political attacks - for being indecisive, weak, appeasing, anti-Israel, you name it - if he didn't follow through. It could cost him the votes of crucial constituencies. If the Israelis tried to pressure the United States into joining an attack after the election, Obama would have more flexibility. So, to the extent the Israeli leaders have decided to attack - and it's not at all clear they have - they are probably thinking: much better sooner than later. Maybe the negotiations will be worth following, after all.

Yosef Still Lives! [and will LIVE]

Let My People Go! Moshiach ben Yosef Lives and Will Live!
[according to the Gra, but we must daven]
(keeping in mind that Pollard is a bechina of Moshiach ben Yosef)
There is an idea that in the End of Days, people will awaken to the their knowledge of their Gilgul. Perhaps people like Obama are starting to realize their true character, and are acting upon it. Will Pollard lead to Kedusha's awakening as well?
( the first wave of Techias HaMetim as depicted in the Zohar and Seforim)

JewishPress.com:

Jonathan Pollard is dead. He died in Butler maximum security prison after 27 years of incarceration. Although many top US security officials joined Israeli efforts for the release of the Israeli operative, Pollard’s health had deteriorated markedly in the last few years resulting finally in his death. The above headline is not true yet, but it may be weeks, days, or hours away from being true. Don’t avoid the thought of Pollard’s death, look it squarely in the face and ask yourself how you will feel when you hear the news. If Jonathan Pollard dies in prison then our whole generation will die just a little. We will all bear the stain of having not helped the man who risked his life to protect Israel. When our children will ask us: “Were you around when Jonathan Pollard was alive? Why did he die in prison?” The shameful answer will be: “Yes I was around, and I did not do enough to help him…” To remind you: Pollard was a US Naval intelligence analyst who passed information to Israel, an ally, about its own self-defense. He was caught and agreed to a plea bargain, and instead of getting 2-4 years like agents who spied against the US for enemy states, Pollard got life in prison without parole. This harsh sentence came about as a result of affidavits written to the court by then-Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger. Weinberger has been discredited by the likes of Robert “Bud” McFarlane, Ronald Reagan’s National Security Advisor at the time, who has written to President Obama stating that Weinberger had a history of “unbalanced reasoning” when it came to Israel. But Pollard is still in prison and if he dies, Israel’s relationship with the US will be forever marred. The ugliness of this whole affair will surface, and it will not sink away like some people would like it to. The stain will grow darker and uglier. The US presents itself as the global champion of liberty, yet this miscarriage of justice goes on and on. How many more US leaders must stand up so that this torture ends? As Lawrence Korb has written: “Most of the major decision-makers who were intimately involved in the case have issued public calls for clemency. They include former Secretary of State George Shultz, former Senator David Durenberger (R-MI) (who served as Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence at the time of Pollard’s conviction), and former Congressman Lee Hamilton (R-IN) (Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee at the time of Pollard’s sentencing)… Key figures who viewed the classified damage assessment years later also favor Pollard’s release. They include former head of Senate Intelligence Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ), Deputy Attorney General Philip Heymann, Attorney General Michael Mukasey, White House counsel Bernard Nussbaum, as well as James Woolsey, former Director of the CIA. Mukasey, who was attorney general for George W. Bush, stated it well when he wrote that no one alleges Pollard intended to harm the United States with his actions – nor was he ever charged with harming the US.” I am calling on Israel’s gentile friends: This is the hour of your test – will you let this Jew, who is serving an immoral life sentence for defending Israel, die? Do you want this on your conscience? What will you say to those Jews who ask you: “With all the love you show Israel, did you raise your voice to defend a man who languished – and died – in your prison for attempting to save the Jewish State?” It is your time to stand up and use the democratic channels of which America is so proud. Pull out all the stops. You already have top brass behind the cause, but now the voice of the people must be heard. Make sure your congressmen, senators, and president know that this will not stand. Because without justice and liberty, what is America? That being said, it is easy to pass the buck. We can blame the US all we want, but have we Israelis made it clear that we demand Pollard’s freedom? No. We went to work, and sent our kids to school, we had a Pesach Seder and some of us mentioned Jonathan’s name, even left a chair for him. But we did not disrupt our lives, and we did not do enough to disrupt our government’s life and the life of Jewish organizations who represent us. We certainly did not do enough to disrupt the US government’s daily business. In other words, Pollard’s slow death did not matter enough for us to shake things up. There are efforts being made, for sure: Shimon Peres was handed a letter by the Pollard lobby chairman MK Uri Ariel who said: “Mr. President, I submit to you a letter for President Obama that has been signed by 81 MKs and which calls on him to release Jonathan Pollard. We would be very grateful if you would deliver this letter at your meeting with President Obama in June. We are asking the President of the State of Israel not to wait until the Presidential Medal of freedom award ceremony and even now present this official request to the US President that he pardons Jonathan Pollard on humanitarian grounds forthwith.” President Peres did issue a quick letter to President Obama calling for Pollard’s immediate release on health and humanitarian grounds. But the answer, so far, has been disappointing. After news of Pollard’s hospitalization, PM Netanyahu’s Media Advisor communicated the following: “The time has come to release Jonathan Pollard. The Festival of Freedom of all Jews needs to become Jonathan Pollard’s private festival of freedom. I have done much, and will continue work, for his release.” Dear Prime Minister Netanyahu: If you keep ‘working’ for his release, Pollard will soon be dead. There is no more ‘work’ for his release, no more finessing, no more cajoling, no more games. For your own sake, for your legacy, you need to get him out, now. Place the weight of Israel behind this issue: call in the friends, make some threats, throw some muscle around. Mr. Prime Minister: Make this a priority. Now. I do not want the stain of Pollard’s ugly death in prison to be on my conscience. I do not want his death to be on my nation’s conscience. I do not want it on the conscience of PM Netanyahu or President Peres. I do not want it on the conscience of Israel’s gentile friends, or even the US administration. I do not want the ugly stain to be a permanent scar on the historical record and the collective memory of this generation. But it’s all about to happen. Unless something changes, Jonathan Pollard will die in Butler prison in the next few weeks, days, or hours. But this is not the hour of despondency. Jonathan is still alive. Everything else has to stop until we fix this. For Jonathan’s sake, as much as ours.

May we merit Moshiach ben Yosef Mamash in this '72 - Nissan

Obamination in the Talmud - An Altar to Idolatry

As you can see below, the name Obama is encoded in an auspicious place in Masechet Brachot 2 [p14]

כל הנותן שלום לחבירו קודם שיתפלל כאלו עשאו במה
כל הנותן שלום לחבירו קודם שיתפלל,
 כ''[אל]'ו עש'או במה
Whoever gives shalom [greeting] to his friend before davening, it's as if he made a high place [bimah] - [for idol worship].

Obama's name encoded in  Masechet Brachot 2 p14a
Rav said: If one gives greeting to his fellow before he has said his prayers it is as if he made him a high place, as it says, Cease ye from man in whose nostrils is a breath, for how little is he to be accounted! Read not bammeh [how little], but bammah [high place].

Samuel interpreted:  ...ושמואל אמר במה חשבתו לזה ולא לאלוה  - How come you to esteem this man and not God? [Source]

 כ''[אל]'ו עש'או במה
All who give shalom [greeting] to his friend before praying, is like ''Keil Esau'' - the god -Esau. [Obama who is the leader of Eisav: Rome] The Ramban quotes a midrash that Yakov is called a "God - below" because he has the power to uproot decrees [gezeirot] with prayer. Thus if Yaakov had interactions with the Divine through prayer in Kedusha, Eisav would be his exact opposite and nemesis in this endeavor in Klippah. From this we arrive at: Keil-Eisav : Obama! (Edom who attempt to pervert G-d and his Attributes)

The meaning is therefore: in all that Yaakov does in Kedusha with prayer and his relationship to God, Eisav does the opposite, with Obama being the master, as the leader that rules through the demise of Edom. [Genesis 3:20]
"he considers to elevate himself and manipulate others with Godly Attributes [Shalom: a Name of God]; and does not consider God ("Elokah")'' - this usage of "Elokah" is the same as the midrash with Yaakov.

Will 5772 bring an end to this [as the 5768 guys say], "Obamination?"

The Jewish Refugee - Run!

There is an old "joke" / "idea" that the Egyptians should request their money back for all of the Gold that the Jews "took" while the Jews would then request payment and interest on lost wages for the architecture.
Here is a story that is similar, and if any Palestinian/Arab is reading this, you can glady send me my portion of the Billions of dollars from Morocco...my kids will be thankful.

IsraCast:

Danny Ayalon: 'Half Of Israel's Residents Are Jewish Refugees, Or Their Progeny, Who Were Driven Out Of Arab Countries After They Attacked Jewish State in 1948' 'Israel To Insist That Jewish Refugee Problem Will Be Core Element In Any Future Negotiation To Resolve Conflict' IsraCast Assessment: At Long Last, Israel's Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Raises Arab League's Responsibility For Creating Two Refugee Problems -Palestinian & Jewish IsraCast: It is probably the least known fact in the long and vociferous Arab-Israeli conflict: Consider this, more Jewish refugees were forced to flee from their homes in the Arab countries than all the Palestinians who were forced to flee or left of their own volition, from the newly born state of Israel in 1948. At a Jerusalem news conference, Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon announced that Israel insisted that the Jewish refugees be 'a core element in any future negotiation or settlement to resolve the conflict'. The facts: after the Arab League categorically rejected the UN Partition Plan of 1947 that would have eventually created Israel and 'Palestine', it launched an invasion from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt aimed at destroying the nascent Jewish state. The combined Arab armies were defeated and driven back and in the wake of the Arab onslaught, an estimated 600,000 Palestinian refugees fled their homes. On the other side of this two-way street, an estimated 850,000 Jewish refugees were dispossessed and forced to leave the Arab countries. The Palestinians left behind property worth an estimated $400 million that is valued today $3.9 billion. However by comparison, the Jewish refugees lost an estimated $700 million that is now valued at $6 billion. Ayalon made the point:' Today some 50% of Israel's (Jewish ) residents are the same refugees and their progeny from the Arab countries'. Moreover those Jewish refugees, and Ayalon's own family was forced to flee Algeria, were absorbed by Israeli society whereas the Arab world, except for Jordan, forced the Palestinians into refugee camps where they fester until this very day.

Redemption: Eating of the Tree of Life!

Noahidenations.com

Parashas Bereishit: Shem and the Tree of Life

In this week’s Torah Portion, we are introduced to the Creation of the World and the story of the beginning of Mankind. As many are aware of Adam and Eve and of their eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil while abstaining from the Tree of Life, few realize that the product of their disaster in sin led to the great task of Mankind: “The Rectification of Adam.” The Torah is then the guide of Man to find his way back to the Garden of Eden and eat of the Tree of Life, as it is said in the Torah itself, “He stationed at the East of the Garden of Eden the Cherubim and the flame of the ever-turning sword, to guard the way to the Tree of Life.” Thus the point of rectification is ultimately in total repair and the return to a “Garden of Eden Status” on Earth, of which Hashem has personally instituted a system of guardianship over the challenge placed upon Adam’s descendents who are charged with this mission. Once the Torah is given, this will become the prime directive of civilization – to Repair the damage done by Adam, of which will be fulfilled by Noahides and Jews, working together within Torah to bring Creation to the status of what Hashem calls, “Very Good.” ; Evil then returns to Good and Peace prevails over all. This is how Hashem saw the 6000 years of Creation, as the Torah says, “and Behold, it was Very Good” in reference to evil’s return to within Good, constituting the ultimate Good that Hashem had in mind upon Creation. Throughout many thousands of years, the World has seen plenty of Righteous Men tread the soil of Earth. The Torah gives account from Adam’s repentance to Noah’s Greatness leading to Sinai and Moses until Joshua will end the Chumash (5 Books of Moses) and lead Israel into the Holy Land. From there and beyond Mankind will witness its share of the Righteous along with the Wicked, in the attempt to repair all that went haywire from Adam’s eating of the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. As we all know, death is part of the equation of being Human, and this was the most direct and severe punishment delivered to Adam after he sinned. The Talmud teaches, that though Man must die, there are those who were so totally righteous that the taste of sin they did not taste. (This should not pose as a contradiction to King Solomon’s dictum of, “there is none so holy who knows not of Sin” as he states in Koheles) The Talmud clarifies that though sin they did not endure directly, all those who do not erase the contamination of the Sin of Adam and Eve in association with the Serpent, is considered upon them as though they were directly involved with sin directly. (Here we see why this poses no threat to King Solomon and his eternal Wisdom) There is yet another level of Man in contrast to “those who never tasted sin” and this is, “those that never tasted Death!” As the Midrash states there are [at least] nine souls who never tasted Death, among them are Elijah, Serach bas Asher, etc. What many are utterly astonished to find out is that there are a few, enormous exclusions from the general list that people are regularly acquainted with. It is not often said that among them is Jeremiah the Prophet, and more directly involving Noahide past directly is Shem the son of Noah! There is an ancient Midrash of which its author is unknown, that speaks of Shem having ascended directly to the Garden of Eden and ate from the Tree of Life. This Midrash that is simply known as, “The Wondrous Midrash”, states the following, “Shem ben Noach went up within the power of names to the Garden of Eden and ate there from the Tree of Life. From there he went to the desert and stood there for ‘many years’…until King Solomon came and prayed for Shem…thus he died the way of all mankind, while King Solomon brought Shem to the Holy Land and buried him there. And still there is to consider [the nature of ‘death’] as the Rabbis have stated, ‘Shem is alive forever.” This Rabbinical statement that “Shem lives” would be in support of the notion of the Four Craftsmen spoken of in Talmud Sukkah (in relation to the Prophecy of Zechariah), stating that the four Men of Redemption are: Messiah son of David, Messiah son Joseph, Elijah, and The Righteous Priest – Shem ben Noach. The simple answer to why Shem would take part in the End of Days, is simply that he ate from the Tree of Life, and to take it one step further, Shem would be ideal in the repair of Adam in that he ate from what Adam was supposed to eat from – The Tree of Life. Not only does Shem belong in the Divine Mission of Torah, but he proves that Jews and Noahides work together in the efforts to bring back the level of the Garden of Eden to Earth, which is synonymous with the Third Temple, The Coming of the Messiah (as mentioned with the Four Craftsmen), and the overall mission of the Four Craftsmen. In short, Shem is one of the men listed by the Midrash as those who entered the Garden of Eden during their lifetime, and even more specifically, he is related to the repair of Adam and his sin, for Shem ate from the Tree of Life, the same Tree that is guarded by Hashem’s Cherubim. The Gematria (Numerical value) of Torah is 611 and this is the same as “תיקון אדם” / “Rectification of Adam.” If Adam was the template of the nature of Man, then we can point to the Torah as the guide in the perfection of Man. And as we have seen, some men did not outright sin, while others did not die, yet both were afflicted by the death decree imposed upon Adam and subsequently Mankind. Shem has the unique status of having eaten from the Tree that would have been the salvation of Mankind, as the same would have been for Adam had he risen to his challenge and eaten from the Tree of Life, thereby entering into what would have been the Great Shabbat. The Torah demands a lot from Man, yet if the task were too tall, Man would not feel the need to attempt to fulfill its demands. We then have the opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of all of the Righteous who have served Hashem with upright heart, and even others who either did not sin or die. Yet their achievements all express the Human nature of fallibility in them, that they suffered the stain of Adam. Shem is no different, as the Midrash clearly says that he died, yet he holds special distinctions of: Living on, having full merit in the Redemption, and representing success where Adam and all others came up short – the tasting of Life. Torah literature may be quick to point to Shem’s flaws, as the axiom says, “the Righteous are judged harsher than the rest of Mankind,” after all, Moses was not even allowed to taste the Holy Land! But Shem will forever be a reminder to us, that the biggest dreams are possible, to the extent that yes, Adam’s sin can and will be rectified. Shem and his Torah are the authentic reminder to us that Torah is the same Gematria as the Rectification of Adam – something Shem lived personally, even if he had to die over it, for the very blemish of simply being Human; a condition that will be uprooted in the Days of the Messiah, when all of Mankind who lives to see it, will merit eating of the Tree of Life. With so many focused on pointing out the flaws of those who lived before us, this Midrash points to the unique praise of Shem, and to quote the Midrash, “Shem Lives on”, [for having found his way to the Garden of Eden.]
