The Golden Empire of Doom: Esav and Yishmael

..."And the Gold of the Land was Good."
...[of the 8th Edomite King] ( representing Geulah) "Bat Mei Zahav" -  (end letters=Bayit/House) : What is Gold? (Rashi) :The wealthy who have so much no longer recognize Gold. (interestingly enough it is hinting towards "Houses" i.e. housing crisis.

The Torah is adamant about Gold in many places..why is it so "good?"

GwinnettDailyOnline:

According to a select group of global analysts, the price of gold will more than likely double by the end of Q3 and could quite possibly approach the $5k per ounce level near year's end. This bold forecast has very little to do with dismal economic performance in US markets, although re-election of current US leadership in November is expected to help it along significantly. The actual cause of this predicted trend lies primarily with European leadership's unwillingness to take the bold steps necessary to repair the colossal problems with their debt. Most analysts agree that the floundering has gone on far too long and decision makers are far too comfortable with allowing correction opportunities to expire time and time again. Those who are in a position to make the tough decisions to salvage what little opportunity remains continue to do what they've been doing - which is nothing. They have their riches stashed away to live out their lives in the comforts of wealth. They refuse to be saddled with the legacy of the financial mess that's been festering for so long. The responsibility of the future will fall upon new shoulders after the current heads of state step down and retire. By then, the new individuals will be begging Germany to come to their aid at just about any cost. Only then, things will have gotten so bad that Germany will be demanding all of each country’s gold reserves and that’s just the beginning. It will seem like Germany is getting the old band back together – only without the violence and destruction. It will be at this point that the multitudes are expected to abandon near worthless paper currency for a gold-based economy and demand is expected to drive the price in excess of $5,000 per ounce within the year. This is the forecast that the aforementioned analysts are predicting and by the looks of the lack of any meaningful progress with Euro Debt - it's difficult to argue differently.

Spain became the fourth and largest country to ask Europe to rescue its failing banks, a bailout of up to €100 billion ($125 billion) that leaders hoped would stabilize a financial crisis that threatens to break apart the 17-country eurozone.
The rescue offer follows growing pressure from international investors and the Obama administration and comes a week before elections in Greece, whose voters could decide whether the country leaves the euro.
Europe's widening recession and financial crisis has hurt companies and investors around the world. Providing a financial lifeline to Spanish banks is likely to relieve anxiety on the Spanish economy — which is five times larger than Greece's — and on markets concerned about the country's ability to pay its way.
"What the markets are looking for is essentially the Spanish government's acceptance that its banks are broke," said Jacob Kirkegaard, a research fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington, Saturday.
Economy Minister Luis de Guindos announced the deal after an emergency conference call with eurozone financial leaders. He said the aid will go to the banking sector only and would not come with new austerity conditions attached for the economy in general — conditions that have been an integral part of previous bailouts to Portugal, Ireland and Greece.
The exact figure of the bailout has not yet been decided. De Guindos said the country is waiting until independent audits of the country's banking sector have been carried out before asking for a specific amount. The audits are expected June 21 at the latest.
De Guindos did say, however, that Spain would request enough money for recapitalization, plus a safety margin that will be "significant."
With markets in turmoil, de Guindos said the government's efforts to shore up the financial sector "must be completed with the necessary resources to finance the needs of recapitalization."
Finance ministers of the 17 countries that use the euro said the money would be fed directly into a fund Spain set up to recapitalize its banks, but underscored that the Spanish government is ultimately responsible for the loan.
Still, that plan allows Spain to avoid making the onerous commitments that Greece, Ireland and Portugal were forced to when they sought their rescues. Instead, the eurogroup statement said that it expected Spain's banking sector to implement reforms and that Spain would be held to its previous commitments to reform its labor market and manage its deficit.
The eurogroup statement said that meant the cost could reach €100 billion.
The Spanish acceptance of aid for its banks is a big embarrassment for Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, who insisted just 10 days ago that the banking sector would not need a bailout. He was elected in November and walked right into a hurricane.
International pressure on Spain to solve its financial problems has grown more urgent in recent weeks. On Thursday ratings agency Fitch hit Spain with a three-notch downgrade of its credit rating. That left it two levels above junk status. Then on Friday, Moody's Investor Services warned it could downgrade Spain and other countries in the eurozone.
The International Monetary Fund early Saturday released a report estimating that Spanish banks need a recapitalization injection of at least €40 billion ($50 billion) following a stress test it performed on the country's financial sector. That report came out three days ahead of schedule, underscoring the urgency of the situation.
And U.S. President Barack Obama, facing re-election, enduring a weak economy and in need of strong trading partners, expressed strong concern late Friday over the European economic crisis.
U.S Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner welcomed Spain's decision and the offer of European support, describing them as "important for the health of Spain's economy and as concrete steps on the path to financial union, which is vital to the resilience of the euro area."
French Finance Minister Pierre Moscovici said the deal would "contribute to restoring confidence in the eurozone."
"The accord announced tonight speaks to a reinforced solidary among the countries of the eurozone and to their resolute desire to ensure its stability," he said in a statement.
Spain's financial problems are not due to Greek-style government over-spending. The country's banks got caught up in the collapse of a real estate bubble. However, as Spain's leaders have struggled for a solution to their banking crisis, the country's borrowing costs have soared close to the level that forced the governments of Greece, Portugal and Ireland to seek rescues.
Some of Spain's banks are struggling with by toxic real estate loans and assets. The Bank of Spain says they total around €180 billion. Nationalized lender Bankia, SA, which has requested €19 billion in aid, has €32 billion in toxic assets. Around four other banks are considered prime candidates for bailouts. De Guindos said Saturday the sector is largely solid and the euro zone package will be funnel toward only about 30 percent of it.
Analyst Rafael Pampillon if IE Business School in Madrid said the bailout addressed the uncertainty the markets had felt about how Spain's debt-laden banking sector would recapitalize.
"This uncertainty, and hence the panic, will slowly dissipate from the markets," he said. Pampillon added that with polls forecasting a pro-Euro victory in Greek elections, markets would be further relieved because the austerity conditions imposed on Greece would most likely be fulfilled.
Eswar Prasad, a Cornell University trade policy professor and senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, said the decision "buys some temporary breathing room for the eurozone."
Moody's said Spain's banking problem is largely confined to that country and not likely to spill over to other eurozone nations, with the exception of Italy — where the European Central Bank has already stepped in to buy government bonds as a way to help lower the country's borrowing costs.
Spain has been criticized for being too slow to set out a roadmap to resolve its problem. European business leaders and analysts have stressed that Spain must find a solution quickly so that it is not caught up in any market turmoil sparked by the June 17 Greek elections. There are concerns that anti-bailout left-wing party Syriza could become the largest party in the Greek parliament, putting the country's membership in the eurozone at risk.
Working in Spain's favor is the fact that its public debt is actually quite low, at 68.5 percent of its gross domestic product at the end of 2011.
Its debt is predicted to hit 78 percent by the end of the year, but even that figure would be below the debt-to-GDP ratios of Europe's strongest economy, Germany, which is at 82 percent.
But Spain's in its second recession in three years, with unemployment at nearly 25 percent and little hope for improvement this year. Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy's government has imposed a wave of austerity measures since he took office in December that have raised taxes, made it cheaper to hire and fire workers and cut government funding for education and health care.

There is an Economic Black Hole gorging on Earth.  The fears that people had with the LHC was that it could spawn a Black Hole. With Comet Elenin, it was thought that its effect on Earth was through "Mazal." {Am Yisrael is ABOVE Mazal} -
Is Mankind acting out "The End of Days" and "Doom" through Mazal - based- actions? If the World is susceptible to such behavior, and if the Age of Aquarius is upon Mankind, i.e. the Messianic Age, then  Man, who is the vessel of Creation, could be the instrument to identify doom, trends, and most importantly -NOVELTY.
We are seeing Yishmael fall, Edom collapse, Zion rising, all NOVEL...while the doom seems to be getting less and less?! There will be Doom, but perhaps Men of Mazal will depict the Divine Broadway that ultimately will begin telling the story of Redemption.
To be amongst Bnei-Torah in these times, with Wisdom of Torah {and being Above Mazal} provides an objective lens of which to observe what the World is doing. When we open our eyes, and gaze at the ruins of Olam HaZeh, the things we were told and that we fear of (or expect) are/is happening right before us!
...as the Chofetz Chaim said: "if you ponder the Bias Moshiach you will feel it. If you do not ponder it, you will feel nothing at all."
There is plenty of Novelty to Ponder. Our job is to find it, connect to it, and remove the veil of Geulah, so the Shechinah can shine forth, and lay witness for all of Mankind!

Shem and Jethro: The Two Sinai Noahides

Jethro: Continuing Shem at Sinai

Rabbi David P. Katz

In this week’s Torah Portion of Beha’aloscha we encounter a very interesting junction in the Torah that naturally sheds light on the exact nature of Jethro and his “conversion” status. As we suddenly happen upon Moses and his request of Jethro to remain with the Jewish People, the Torah relates a series of poor behavior by the Jewish People, such that the Torah in the Hebrew has placed two upside down letter “Nun’s” (ננ) to make a break in the flow. The Torah then takes this opportunity for Moses to address the Ark of the Covenant to journey and defeat Israel’s enemies. One interesting fact to note in this exchange is that between the upside down Nun’s, the text consists of 85 letters. This happens to be the minimum amount of components to comprise a proper book and subsequently the commentators call this digression “the hidden book within the Torah.” It is then explained that the Torah went on a digression so that the poor behavior would have a break as to not impose a grudgeful image upon the Jewish People and to inspire repentance. When one continues to look into matters in this auspicious text, there is yet another mystery; one that also holds weight and suggests the passing of judgment on the Jewish People: “what is the reality with Jethro?” The point of contention has repercussions in understanding whether or not Jethro was right to leave and come back twice, or if the Jewish People were right or wrong in their dealings with Jethro.

After the traveling in the encampments had settled down, we find Moses engaging Jethro his Father-in-law saying, “We are journeying to the place of which Hashem has said, ‘I shall give it to you.’ Go with us and we shall treat you well, for Hashem has spoken of good for Israel.” Upon which Jethro responded, “I shall not go; but rather to my land and to my family shall I go.” Moses returns and says, “Please do not forsake us, inasmuch as you know our encampments in the wilderness, and you have been as eyes for us. And it shall be that if you come with us, then with that goodness with which Hashem will benefit us, we will do good with you.”

Before delving into the matters of Jethro [in a linear fashion explaining each step of the way that Moses, the Jewish People, and Jethro all interacted and what they really meant], let it first be known why [if Jethro has been in conversion to Noahide] there would be a precedent for Jethro to leave Mt. Sinai at the Giving of the Torah only to return and leave again at our current position in Beha’aloscha.

A Noahide is a proper Noahide by two essential components: He is a Noahide, presumably going back to Noah either by genealogy or in concept and by accepting the Torah and Her Seven Laws as was dictated to Moses by God on Mt. Sinai. Assuming that these conditions are reached, one is an authentic Noahide. The essential father of these conditions, albeit in a unique way is Shem: the son of Noah, with the only difference in that he accepted the Torah from his father Noah instead of Moses. It should be noted however that Noah was reincarnated into Moses! Thus Shem was the first Noahide and from him there would be a tradition of Noahide that would eventually root in Sinai. [Shem was present in Sinai for 1300 years for this reason – to guarantee and promote the Noahide and Torah until firmly established on Earth forever which happened with the advent of King Solomon. It was King Solomon that relieved Shem of duty, freeing him to go on to his next ultimate mission: Redemption.] Once at Sinai, the Torah was given, and the path of the Noahide was now being routed at Sinai. This path would be authentic according to what Noah and Shem had established in the beginning. If Abraham was a “pre-Israelite” and Moses was then the first “Sinai-Jew”, then Shem and Noah would be the “primordial Noahides” [based on absolute righteousness] and at Sinai there would need to be an authentic Noahide, that would become through the Torah’s mandate of having this achieved by going through the Torah, Moses and Sinai. Jethro was the elected one to merit this rite, and we see from the Scriptures that Jethro’s peculiar behavior was not peculiar at all – he was becoming a Noahide as Noahides would become and be rooted through Sinai and Moses for all of time, thereby extending Noah and Shem for eternity! With this in mind, Jethro did not abandon the Jewish People and show ambivalent behavior towards being Jewish; rather he was being a perfect and authentic example of how a Noahide honors Hashem while walking the Ultimate Path of the Righteous Gentile. The Torah would go on to call this level of existence a “Ger Tzedek” – a righteous convert[/s(ion)] implying that Jethro was in constant conversion [from Love of God as opposed to Fear of God, which would be the manner to convert to Judaism according to the Talmud.] to the point that he was called a convert. From this even though we can technically term Jethro perhaps a convert to Judaism, but the consistency in the Verses and proper understanding of the Torah is to realize that these terms and Jethro’s behavior was the highest order of compliment of being a Noahide! [The first Noahide of Sinai thereby honoring the missions of Shem and Noah!]

When we delve into the comments made by the commentator Rashi on these Verses, the dialogue between Moses, Jethro, and the Jews does not fully add up, unless we address the Truth of Jethro as a Noahide! From that point on, Moses doesn’t ship out Jethro from haste or ill-will; rather he is addressing him as a Noahide! Jethro isn’t abandoning the Jewish People [and Hashem for that matter]; rather he is making it possible to be a Noahide! For if Jethro would have stayed and repaired schism, he would receive his Torah, Moses would receive for the Jews, and this would spawn to Individual Nations that would soon split, divorce, and never find Unity, leaving the World fractured eternally. Thus if Jethro leaves and accepts the Torah from Moses, then we find that from schism comes the ultimate repair of schism, one that the scar of the original schism would become a sweetened spot and association of Love and Hashem’s Goodness! And finally, the Jewish complaints simply do not make sense if Jethro is a Jew, yet when we see Jethro as the Noahide, all of a sudden the Jews are left wondering, “Why would Jethro want to be a Noahide as opposed to being a Jew? Does he really Love God as much as he claims? He probably just Fears God like any other Jew!”

The simple answer to the Jewish complaint is that Jethro is not Jewish! Everything adds up for Jethro to be a Noahide, one that is in conversion of his soul to be one of a Lover of God, much like Shem his Father who was called “Shem My Lover!” [Of God] Thereby Moses then addresses Jethro – “are you sure you do not want to be a Jew? You are of superb caliber as it was you who knew of our encampments and again it was you who he even invented the Sanhedrin!” And yet again, Jethro expresses that he is a Noahide and by doing so he shows the capabilities of this Noahide Nation that he was essentially the father of from Sinai, as he inherited the Mission of Shem and Noah! In closing, we find that Jethro was not acting strange or in deviance at all, rather he was fulfilling his destiny as a servant of God! After all, only two Men had ever used the term, “Baruch Hashem” / “Blessed is Hashem!” Noah and Jethro! The Gematria [numerical Value] of Baruch Hashem is the same as Joseph still lives (254). This was Jacob’s cry upon finding out that Joseph in fact did not die. The same can be applied to Noah and Jethro: That which Noah started – Still Lives! As with Sinai, Jethro Lives! And the Noahides Still Live! The fulfillment of this will be with Moshiach Ben David, whose main task as the King Messiah is to give an additional thirty commandments to the Noahides, and as it is said of David: David Lives Forever! The Noahides in their expansion that will resonate equality and the sweetness from schism that has found Unity and Love will also be able to proudly say: Alive Forever with new found intention that will merit yet another Baruch Hashem!

Baruch Hashem for Jethro, for through him, Sinai was complete, from Shem, to Moses, and to the future of the World and its existence. There is a lot to learn from Jethro, such that even the nature of Truth must be fully understood to be fair in how one sees reality. The Torah had a string of ill advised behavior from the Jews in the Torah Portion, and if one reacts too quickly, he may pass judgment upon Jethro, in a sensitive area in the Torah that is trying to express only good points in People and the Nation of Israel. Not only should one in the passage be careful with Jethro, for his misinterpretation may only add fuel to the fire. Yet if one sees the merit of Jethro in the location of the upside down Nun’s, perhaps not only is there a repair in the Torah’s string of bad events, and judgment can then be a source of merit, but perhaps this is a Divine message of the repair of schism. Jethro is the hero of this repair, and even though Jethro accepted Noahide and Torah from Moses on Sinai, let us not forget the bigger picture and the original repair of schism that Jethro and Sinai are really pointing to: Shem and Abraham! Sinai is the perpetuation of Malki Tzedek and Abraham, upon which Moses and Jethro took on that relationship in an eternal Torah form. Yet we can always look at the blueprint: Shem pushed Abraham into Judaism to the same tune that Jethro was compelled into being a Noahide. And even amidst two [new] radically different Nations that Shem had now developed, there has never been Brotherhood like Shem and Abraham…that is not until Moses and Jethro found each other [and with the testimony that that was in fact the Truth], a meeting that is destined for the Future, when the schism will be eternally healed, honoring Shem and the forefathers onwards, enclothed amongst the Jewish People and the Noahides that together, will embrace each other, and the Redemption, which will be ushered in by none other than the Righteous priest, “Shem the son of Noah.”

Shabbat Shalom: May we continue with Sinai, and thereby continue into the Bias Moshiach! {as the Chofetz Chaim stated about the Geulah...and bring Merit of the Kohen Tzedek - Shem along with the other Craftsmen: MBD ,MBY ,and Eliyahu!

Yishmael's Last Stand

Syria: On her last leg, coupled with the famous Prophecy: Moshiach will come once Damascus ceases to be a city. There is a major covert war going on, and America is behind it...as they have been in the entire Middle East. -sidenote: did the Prophets witness and base [some at least] Prophecies according to cyber vision of Gog V' Magog? Stranger things have happened I guess.

Pakistan: Muslim belief is that their Gog V' Magog is when Pakistan goes down. And: it is going down! New World Order Theorists [backed with Islamic Gog V' Magog ideology] believe that an American owned Pakistan IS dominance in the region [probably coupled with Israeli victory over Iran while assuming Assad will indeed fall] and this will launch the NWO offensive World-Wide.

YahooNews:

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton accused Syrian President Bashar Assad of doubling down on "simply unconscionable" violence on Thursday, a day after reports that at least 78 people—including women and children—were killed by pro-government forces near Hama. Monitors from the United Nations were trying Thursday to reach the village to verify the latest massacre, according to Reuters. As many as 40 women and children were among the 78 killed in Mazraat al-Qubeir, near Hama, on Wednesday, opposition activists said. "We're disgusted by what we see happening," Clinton said in Istanbul, where she was scheduled to meet with envoys from 16 European, Turkish and Arab countries. "The regime-sponsored violence that we witnessed again in Hama yesterday is simply unconscionable. Assad has doubled down on his brutality and duplicity, and Syria will not, cannot be peaceful, stable or certainly democratic until Assad goes." Clinton's comments came as the White House attempts to sharpen its tone on Assad's four-decade regime, and unite allies in putting pressure on the Syrian leader. "We have to do more to help organize and focus the opposition," she said. The Syrian government denied responsibility, blaming terrorists for the latest spate of killings. But U.N. confirmation, Reuters noted, would "pile pressure" on world leaders "who have been paralyzed by rifts pitting Western and most Arab states against Assad's defenders in Russia, China and Iran." More than 13,000 people have been killed in Syria in the last 15 months, according to the Associated Press. On Sunday, Assad said his government had nothing to do with last week's massacre in Houla, where more than 100 people—many of them children—were killed. [Related: Boy played dead to survive Houla massacre] "Truthfully, not even monsters would carry out [the crimes] that we have seen, especially the Houla massacre," Assad said in a televised speech to the Syrian parliament in Damascus. "There are no Arabic or even human words to describe it. The criminal or criminals who committed this crime and others are not criminals for an hour or criminals for a day, they are constant criminals and are surely planning other crimes." Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta warned that the United States is "reaching the limits of our patience" with Pakistan over harboring militants. "It's extremely important that Pakistan take action to prevent this kind of safe haven," Panetta said during an unannounced visit to Afghanistan, according to CNN.

The World-Wide-Chessboard is in full force! Everybody is acting according to their beliefs. The big mystery is: what are Hashem's pieces doing?!

Rome is Burning! (With Grease[Greece])

Acropolis

Greece (Rome's precursor) will fall! And who does the dictatorship of EU (Europe) fall upon? - Germany! - Something Hitler couldn't do, and Merkel - without killing one person has ascended to European Power, and unchallenged!

[One side note: From the formation of the State of Israel (Israeli Nukes were heavily rooted in Germany) until today, Germany has created and sustained Israel! and from this World Jewry [!], as Zionism implemented is massive; while the destruction of Iran is being issued by and made POSSIBLE by Germany and the new submarines!  It is a previous Lubavitcher Rebbe that said Amalek can even get a Tikkun, upon which the Gra says Germany is a form Amalek (see WWII). The Gra goes on and explains how Amalek "swaps" and is germinating within the Jews; one Amalekite of the Nations joins while one Jew [at a time] inter-marries out: hence, the "swap." From this point the Ramchal talks about the "Keil" of the Samech Mem latches onto Holiness. Amalek only exists by their ability to "change form" and "swap." Kabbalistically, there is an inyan how penimius and chetzonius works with Klippah and Kedusha; the Penimius of both is in a swap, to which the Gra says: the war with the Erev Rav / Katan [Amalek] is the most bitter! - As Klippah and Kedusha become perverted!

So here you have Europe, Greece, and Rome at large falling, while Germany is rising? Jews are doing Teshuva, while "Torah Judaism" is claiming you are a Kofer if you are reading this blog! (Asifa! and yet the ENTIRE frum World is still somehow connected despite the complaints [rooted in hypocrisy]) The question is: what is reality, Worldly and Torah for the matter?!

We need to open our eyes, get educated, and see that Torah is going on all around us; its not even ironic, rather its SUPERNATURAL!

Yahoo.com:

As European leaders grapple with how to preserve their monetary union, Greece is rapidly running out of money. Government coffers could be empty as soon as July, shortly after this month’s pivotal elections. In the worst case, Athens might have to temporarily stop paying for salaries and pensions, along with imports of fuel, food and pharmaceuticals. Officials, scrambling for solutions, have considered dipping into funds that are supposed to be for Greece’s troubled banks. Some are even suggesting doling out i.o.u.’s. Greek leaders said that despite their latest bailout of 130 billion euros, or $161.7 billion, they face a shortfall of 1.7 billion euros because tax revenue and other sources of potential income are drying up. A wrenching recession and harsh budget cuts have left businesses and individuals with less and less to give for taxes — and growing incentive to avoid paying what they owe. The budget gap is widening as the so-called troika of lenders — the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank and the European Commission — withholds 1 billion euros in bailout money earmarked for government financing while it waits to see whether new leaders elected June 17 will honor Greece’s commitments. Even if the troika delivers that money, Greece will struggle to cover its obligations. It underscored a harsh reality that is playing out in other troubled euro zone economies. Prolonged austerity is making it harder, not easier, for governments like Greece to become self-reliant again. A top Spanish official acknowledged on Tuesday that Spain could not readily return to the markets to raise money because investors are demanding such high rates, highlighting how the debt crisis is spreading to larger economies in Europe. Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany said a day earlier that European leaders needed to find a way to create the political union that the world is looking for to complement their monetary union. European officials took a small step in that direction Tuesday by proposing a central authority for banking regulation, which would require countries to give up a bit of cherished sovereignty. An essential element of Greece’s recovery plan has been to collect more taxes from a population that has long engaged in tax avoidance. The government is owed 45 billion euros in back taxes, tax officials in Athens said, only a fraction of which will ever be recovered. To understand the difficulty, just talk to Nikos Maitos, a longtime official in Greece’s financial crimes investigation unit. When he and a team of inspectors recently prowled the recession-hit island of Naxos for tax evaders, a local radio station broadcast his license plate number to warn residents. “One repercussion of the crisis is that people are harder to find,” Mr. Maitos, an imposing, burly man, said last week in his sweltering office on the edge of Athens. “And when you do find them, they don’t have money.” Even tax collectors, who have had to take large pay cuts, find that budget reductions make it hard to pay for the gasoline needed to reach their targets. “After two and a half years of austerity, it’s really a difficult time to bring in revenue,” said Harry Theoharis, a senior official in the Greek Finance Ministry who helps oversee the country’s tax payment system. “You can’t keep flogging a dead horse.” Salaries and pensions in the private and the public sectors have been cut by up to 50 percent, leaving Greece 495 million euros short of its revenue targets in the four months ended in April, according to the Greek Finance Ministry. With less cash, consumers have curbed spending, leading thousands of taxpaying businesses to fail. Income expected from a higher, 23 percent value-added tax required by the bailout agreement has fallen short by around 800 million euros in the first four months of 2012. That is partly because cash-short businesses that were once law-abiding have started hiding money to stay afloat, tax officials said. Greece’s General Accounting Office said recently that the state collected 25 percent less revenue in May than it did a year earlier. And the state has had to slash its goal of raising 50 billion euros from privatizations to just 3 billion euros as foreign investors lose interest. That has left a caretaker government scrambling for a Plan B. One thought is to take billions of euros reserved for recapitalizing Greek banks, which have suffered from a flight of deposits amid political uncertainty and fears that Greece may abandon the euro for its own currency. But using that money would require the troika’s approval. Other notions, like i.o.u.’s and scrip, so far are only that — ideas. To some extent, government officials said the tax-avoiding mentality is starting to change amid an aggressive enforcement campaign aimed at 500 wealthy individuals and companies, including former ministers and heads of state agencies and enterprises. People took notice in April when a former defense minister was arrested on charges of corruption and making false declarations related to his income and taxes. “They are awed when they see inspectors now because of recent cases showing people will be prosecuted or made to pay,” Mr. Maitos said. Tax collectors got another potential lift recently when the government started enforcing a 1995 law that gives them access to bank accounts of suspected tax evaders. But Nikos Lekkas, a top official at the financial crimes agency where Mr. Maitos works, said Greek banks had obstructed nearly 5,000 requests for account data since 2010. “The banks delay sending the information for 8 to 12 months,” he said. “And when they do, they send huge stacks of documents to make it confusing. By the time we can follow up, much of the money has already fled.” In the past two years, the agency managed to assess back taxes worth 650 million euros on 210 of the cases, he said. But only 65 percent could be collected. One challenge lies in what Mr. Lekkas calls the big fish — 18,300 offshore businesses belonging to wealthy Greek individuals and companies. Authorities are trying to trace the owners through property records, and they recently seized several large properties linked to offshore companies whose owners owe tens of millions of euros to the state. That leaves collectors having to go after mostly smaller tax evaders, often with mixed results. During a surveillance trip on the resort island of Santorini, Mr. Maitos said he and two colleagues observed a gas station owner insisting on cash-only transactions to avoid declaring taxes. When confronted, the man lashed at them with a bullwhip while cursing the state for taking his money. Officials said things might improve drastically once Greece’s entire tax system is computerized, a move that is supposed to be completed by the end of this year. Charalambos Nikolakopoulos, the head of the Greek tax collectors’ union, said there was no need for outsiders to straighten things out. “Yes, we need change,” Mr. Nikolakopoulos said. “But things will only improve in Greece when we get a stable government that will impose its political will.”

The EU Band Aid [Magog] Solution

The EU, being led by Angela Merkel is being pressured into a quick-fix scenario that leaves many issues unsolved in the long term.  They want to recapitalize any failing bank on the fly. Without real solutions, this is borrowed time and a very very large band aid.

What is more important [and Jewish] is that when the dust settles, it seems inevitable that Israel [with its location right on top of Europe] will stand to gain massive support and investment ventures, to the point that [in my opinion] the Shekel will be a real World Currency to rival the Dollar, essentially being a better alternative than the Euro, at least long term. Long term means: Israel circa 2013 is ready to explode, and the EU house of cards is nothing more than the opening act to what Israel can be in the near future. Interestingly enough, Bibi is in prime real estate with his Unity Government to make this happen, against all odds and nature.

Boston.com:

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Monday that she is open to establishing a European banking authority as a long-term solution to the continent’s financial crisis. Her support as leader of the EU’s biggest economy could be crucial for the concept, which aims to strengthen the eurozone and calm jittery markets. Europe’s worsening debt crisis is raising concerns well beyond the continent. Finance ministers and central bank presidents of the world’s seven wealthiest countries — which includes Germany — were expected to hold an emergency conference call on Tuesday to discuss the situation. The proposal to create a Europe-wide authority overseeing and ultimately guaranteeing the banks’ stability was first floated last week by the European Commission, the executive body of the EU. But rich countries such as Germany have been lukewarm about the idea because of fears it could eventually lead to them bailing out other countries’ banks. Merkel told reporters ahead of a private session with EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso that the pair ‘‘will also talk about to what extent we have to put systemically (important) banks under a specific European oversight.’’ And while she expressed willingness to consider the concept, she stressed that a banking union cannot be set forth as a quick fix, but rather as a more long-term goal. The European Central Bank is the joint monetary authority for the 17 nations who use the euro currency, but each country is responsible for overseeing its own banks. So when things go wrong, each country has to decide whether or not to bail its banks. For instance, Spain — already under market pressure due to its debt burden and declining economy — needs to provide €19 billion ($23.6 billion) in government aid to rescue its most ailing lender. And although the Spanish government has promised to help Bankia S.A., it has yet to explain where the bulk of the money will come from. Spanish officials have called for Europe’s new permanent rescue fund to be able to recapitalize banks directly, but German officials, among others, have ruled that out, noting that Europe cannot bail out national banks if it has no supervision over them. Barroso maintained that a ‘‘banking union with more integrated financial supervision and deposit guarantees’’ was the necessary step to complete the monetary union with an economic union. Europeans must do ‘‘whatever is necessary to ensure the stability of our currency,’’ he added. European Central Bank President Mario Draghi last week warned the ECB cannot ‘‘fill the vacuum of the lack of action by national governments,’’ calling the monetary union’s current structure ‘‘unsustainable unless further steps are taken.’’ He strongly endorsed the Commission’s proposal to create a Europe-wide banking regulator. Merkel reiterated her conviction that the short-term priority in tackling the continent’s financial crisis must be combining fiscal consolidation with fostering economic growth through reforms and better use of existing funds. Still, she echoed Barroso’s call to strengthen European integration. ‘‘It is completely obvious, and I have often said that: In the eurozone we need at minimum more Europe and not less Europe,’’ she said. Merkel said Europe’s institutions, such as the Commission need more powers, ‘‘otherwise a currency union cannot work.’’ Europe’s new treaty, which enshrines fiscal discipline and creates a more centralized oversight, is ‘‘a first step’’ in that direction, she added. Merkel and Barroso were set to discuss their ideas on reforming Europe over a dinner of veal cutlet with asparagus from the Berlin region, preparing the ground for a full EU summit late next month. The intensified debate on policy ideas to strengthen the bloc’s political union comes as the eurozone enters another tumultuous period of financial and political instability. Investors are worried that Spain will be unable to prop up its banks that are burdened by toxic bad loans — and that it will follow Greece, Portugal and Ireland in asking for an international bailout the eurozone can ill afford. These jitters have sent Spain’s borrowing costs soaring and stock markets plummeting. And in two weeks Greece returns to the polls with the real possibility that it might elect a government that rejects the terms of its multibillion-dollar bailout. This could force the country out of the euro, fracturing the eurozone and further roiling markets. Perhaps the clearest sign of danger is the state of the euro itself: It is trading around two-year lows against the dollar as investors pull money out of euro countries. Canadian Finance Minister James Flaherty told reporters Monday that he would raise Europe’s troubles with his Group of Seven colleagues during Tuesday’s emergency conference call. The G-7 includes the United States, Japan, Germany, France, Britain, Italy and Canada. Flaherty did not give a time for the conference call, which is confidential and not open to reporters. The U.S. Treasury Department wouldn’t comment on the call. But officials said the United States expects more action to strengthen the European banking system in the next two weeks in advance of a meeting of the Group of 20 major economies in Los Cabos, Mexico, later this month.

Israel has the ability to do what Europe wants, namely because of its size and capabilities. Plus, as true Zionism would explain Israel's direction: it is the ultimate - hybrid Capitalist/ Socialist State, made possible with two radical philosophical points of view: Erev Rav and Erev Katan influencing the populace with ideals of how to think. This creates a bipolar society that [only in Israel] can exist side by side in relative harmony.
Only Jews...Only Israel...Only Zionism

...and once the lifeforce is sucked out of the EU, Mr. Nitay will be ready to take the helm of his Unity Government well into 2013, which will basically be the frontier of an entirely new era in the World post 2000 - not to mention in term sof Jewish History, this may actually be unprecedented.

Gog V' Magog: Crisis In Euros

The Euro is about to crash, the EU will crumble, America falls with it, Putin wants to play G-d, and Israel [Erev Rav Faction Zionism] looks to lead the World going into 2013 once the pieces fall into place.

Let's lay this out piece by piece; Hashem's Chess Match:

A) The Eu was created, everyone was status quo
B) The Eu was flawed,  America was booming, Israel developing, Russia was being Russia
C) -Fast Forward to 2008, Beijing- Lehman falls, precedent is established [for the next 4 years]
D) 2012: Euro Crisis 3-years running
     1) America has hopes on the Euro
     2) Putin and Obama  are riding the Euro: Putin wants Natural World Order (to play G-d; Obama wants New World Order (to play G-d's Savior)

E) Merkel is the ultimate Woman, as she is Malchus (lit. and fig.); all politics are now seen through Germany (for what will be the last two World Wars - upon which it is said that WWII was the beginning of Gog V' Magog) [ some even say Merkel is Jewish!]
F) The Talmud Yoma (where it talks about War between Edom and Pras) speaks about [Gog V'] Magog
G) Interestingly, The Magog players are identified as Greece, Germany, Crete, and Turkey mainly. The two EU main topics are identified: Turkey [/Israel relations] and the Eu players [Germany and the bailout victims (Greece)]
H) Putin and Obama are riding the Merkel merkavah to each his own destiny.
I) Are these our Gog and Magog players? - Magog: Merkel while Putin and Obama: share Gog status, each through invested interest in Merkel - ironically, Germany at the heart again.
J) Israel, Netanyahu, 2013 - set to take over the investment arena once the Eu either nearly dies or outright dies.
K) 2008 = 2012: Just as we followed Lehman's demise, now its Part 2: the Euro/Eu (Olympics as well as a simon - remember the Bird's Nest in Beijing?! (Moshiach is compared to the Bird's Nest, and it seems this story took 4 years to develop.
L) So Goes Merkel, so goes the story. Every player of Gog V'Magog is illuminated in the Malchus of Merkel. Again, fitting that she is a woman, as Malchus should be, and 2 Yesod's ruling in her (Yesod and Tiferet; Yesod proper and Yesod of Abba)
M) Merkel sold Israel Nuclear submarines to strike Iran, eliminating the Air as the only prospect.
N) Merkel is the key to the story apparently, and George Soros says she has 3 months to save the World!
O) [CERN says God Particle by end of 2012 - just adds to the mix!]

BusinessInsider.com:

George Soros delivered a speech today in Trento, Italy today on the Eurozone crisis and it's an absolute dynamo. You really ought to read the whole speech, which is on his personal webpage, as it starts off with an overview of his economic theories (which revolve around the idea that markets are deeply imperfect and prone to turn into bubbles based on human fallability and lack of knowledge) and then nicely explains how all of this explains the current crisis in Europe. What's fantastic is that he really gets it from all angles. This is a really killer characterization of the Eurozone: I contend that the European Union itself is like a bubble. In the boom phase the EU was what the psychoanalyst David Tuckett calls a “fantastic object” – unreal but immensely attractive. The EU was the embodiment of an open society –an association of nations founded on the principles of democracy, human rights, and rule of law in which no nation or nationality would have a dominant position. The process of integration was spearheaded by a small group of far sighted statesmen who practiced what Karl Popper called piecemeal social engineering. They recognized that perfection is unattainable; so they set limited objectives and firm timelines and then mobilized the political will for a small step forward, knowing full well that when they achieved it, its inadequacy would become apparent and require a further step. The process fed on its own success, very much like a financial bubble. That is how the Coal and Steel Community was gradually transformed into the European Union, step by step. Germany used to be in the forefront of the effort. When the Soviet empire started to disintegrate, Germany’s leaders realized that reunification was possible only in the context of a more united Europe and they were willing to make considerable sacrifices to achieve it. When it came to bargaining they were willing to contribute a little more and take a little less than the others, thereby facilitating agreement. At that time, German statesmen used to assert that Germany has no independent foreign policy, only a European one. And then came the moment that German, formerly at the forefront of a federated Europe, stopped the progress dead in its tracks... The process culminated with the Maastricht Treaty and the introduction of the euro. It was followed by a period of stagnation which, after the crash of 2008, turned into a process of disintegration. The first step was taken by Germany when, after the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, Angela Merkel declared that the virtual guarantee extended to other financial institutions should come from each country acting separately, not by Europe acting jointly. It took financial markets more than a year to realize the implication of that declaration, showing that they are not perfect. This is a really huge point to grasp, because a nagging question has been: Why did the market think of Spain/Greece/Italy/Etc. as being risk-free sovereigns at one point, and then decide that they were not risk free and subject to credit risk. Soros answer: Because they were essentially risk-free so long as the arc was always towards more integration. That ended when Merkel made the declaration he says above. This is key. Despite the fact that the Euro crisis has been happening for at least 3 years now, there are still many who can't articulate the roots of it as well as Soros does in these two paragraphs: The Maastricht Treaty was fundamentally flawed, demonstrating the fallibility of the authorities. Its main weakness was well known to its architects: it established a monetary union without a political union. The architects believed however, that when the need arose the political will could be generated to take the necessary steps towards a political union. But the euro also had some other defects of which the architects were unaware and which are not fully understood even today. In retrospect it is now clear that the main source of trouble is that the member states of the euro have surrendered to the European Central Bank their rights to create fiat money. They did not realize what that entails – and neither did the European authorities. When the euro was introduced the regulators allowed banks to buy unlimited amounts of government bonds without setting aside any equity capital; and the central bank accepted all government bonds at its discount window on equal terms. Commercial banks found it advantageous to accumulate the bonds of the weaker euro members in order to earn a few extra basis points. That is what caused interest rates to converge which in turn caused competitiveness to diverge. Germany, struggling with the burdens of reunification, undertook structural reforms and became more competitive. Other countries enjoyed housing and consumption booms on the back of cheap credit, making them less competitive. Then came the crash of 2008 which created conditions that were far removed from those prescribed by the Maastricht Treaty. Many governments had to shift bank liabilities on to their own balance sheets and engage in massive deficit spending. These countries found themselves in the position of a third world country that had become heavily indebted in a currency that it did not control. Due to the divergence in economic performance Europe became divided between creditor and debtor countries. This is having far reaching political implications to which I will revert. His key warning: In my judgment the authorities have a three months’ window during which they could still correct their mistakes and reverse the current trends. By the authorities I mean mainly the German government and the Bundesbank because in a crisis the creditors are in the driver’s seat and nothing can be done without German support. He ends with a plea: We need to do whatever we can to convince Germany to show leadership and preserve the European Union as the fantastic object that it used to be. The future of Europe depends on it.

And finally, the God Particle Update, which some may even argue is the power behind all of this!

Rolf-Dieter Heuer, director of CERN where the LHC is based, said he was confident that by the end of the year it will be possible to say whether the Higgs Boson, the particle which is responsible for giving mass to the universe, exists. The theoretical particle, nicknamed the God Particle due to its central role it has in explaining modern physics, has never been detected and scientists have been working for decades to prove its existence. Scientists hope that high energy collisions of particles in the 17 mile underground tunnel at CERN will finally allow them to create the conditions to allow them to spot the elusive Higgs Boson. Dr Heuer, who was speaking at the Hay Festival, said the LHC is scheduled to be closed down at the end of this year for up to two years in order to carry out upgrades that will increase its power and allow it to continue with more experiments. For the first time the LHC will also be opened to the public, who will be allowed to walk through the underground tunnel that straddles the French-Swiss border. Once the existence of Higgs Boson is known, there will be further work to prove its properties and understand the origins of the universe. Dr Heuer said: "If the Large Hadron Collider continues to work I know we have enough collisions to produce enough signals to identify the Higgs Boson. “We will know by the end of this year whether it exists or whether it is non-existent. This would be a huge discovery that after 50 years we are able to describe the visible universe. "We will have taken a big step forward about our knowledge of the physical world. It will help us to understand the creation of the universe." CERN require a high level of proof and will only announce that the Higgs Boson exists when there is just a one in three million chance they are wrong. Dr Heuer said the discovery of the Higgs Boson will also help investigations into this wider universe. The visible universe only makes up 5 per cent and the rest is 'dark energy' and 'dark matter'. He said it was impossible to imagine at this stage how the knowledge of the particle could be applied to practical applications but pointed to previous discoveries have led to developments in medicine and the internet. “Whatever basic science resolves, at some stage it is of use to society. The problem is we do not know when or where.” The search for the God Particle has proved controversial. Critics feared the Large Hadron Collider could create a massive black hole that would "swallow the Earth". Religious groups have also questioned the search for a particle at the origins of the universe. Dr Heuer admitted that "micro black holes" may be created in the Large Hadron Collider but he insisted this was safe as they would decay almost immediately and it could even be good for science as it shows that micro black holes are occurring all the time. He has had meetings with the Pope and insisted that the interface where science ends and religion or philosophy begins is changing all the time.

Finally! Now, Iran and Assad!

If Arab Spring heats up into an Arab Summer - will this FINALLY be the end of Assad, Iran, and Malchus Yishmael [ and his 12 Heavenly Ministers?!]?

YahooNews.com:

Thousands gathered in Cairo's Tahrir Square on Saturday, and many hours later they were still chanting that the revolution is back and the military government needs to go, creating speculation that the Arab Spring has returned. The crowds gathered Saturday after a court sentenced Hosni Mubarak, the embattled and ailing former ruler who led Egypt with an iron first for 30 years, to life in prison for his role in the killing of more than 800 protesters who were demanding he step down. The charges carried a possible death sentence, but the judge chose life imprisonment instead. There were celebrations in the streets when the verdict was announced, but it was short-lived, as protesters learned of the mixed verdict: While Mubarak was sentenced to life in prison, he and his two sons were acquitted of corruption charges. Other senior government officials were acquitted, leaving no one found guilty of ordering the deaths of protesters last year. "The people want the execution of the murderer," the crowd chanted. Initial euphoria gave way to anger. Protesters, flying Egyptian flags and setting off fireworks, chanted "baatel," which means void, in reference to today's verdict. Some on the streets carried banners that read "God's verdict is execution," while others in the city of Alexandra chanted "We are done with talk; We want an execution." Still others spread posters of Mubarak on the ground and walked over them. Thousands of riot police in helmets and shields were needed to contain the restive, anti-Mubarak crowd outside the court. So far, the demonstrations have been relatively non-violent, although there have been several unconfirmed reports of sexual harassment on Twitter. The "Black" Years: "Darkness That Resembled a Winter Night" Mubarak, once a key U.S. ally and one of the longest standing Arab leaders in modern history, sat stone faced in court as Judge Ahmed Rifat read his verdict. It began with words that just two years ago, would have been unthinkable. "The people released a collective sigh of relief after a nightmare that did not, as is customary, last for a night, but for almost 30 black, black, black years -- darkness that resembled a winter night," he said. "The revolution by the people of Egypt was inspired by God. They did not seek a luxurious life or to sit atop the world, but asked their politicians, rulers and those in authority to give them a decent life and a bite to eat," he said. "They peacefully demanded democracy from rulers who held a tight grip on power." Following the verdict, Mubarak suffered a "health crisis" on a helicopter en route to Cairo prison hospital, where he is expected to serve out his sentence. State media reported it as a heart attack, but it could not be independently confirmed. Officials say that upon arrival, Mubarak refused to leave the helicopter for a full two hours, insisting instead that he be taken to a military hospital on the outskirts of Cairo, where he has stayed since his trial began in August. Before that, Mubarak had been staying in a hospital in the Red Sea resort town of Sharm el Sheikh, where he reportedly had privileged access to health facilities, a swimming pool, and received visits from other Gulf rulers. Mubarak's Sons Acquitted of Corruption Charges Inside the courtroom, a scuffle broke out as soon as the verdict was read. Although Mubarak was convicted for his role in suppressing the uprising, he and his sons, Gamal and Alaa, along with a family friend, were acquitted of corruption charges. Because of other, pre-existing charges against Gamal and Alaa that have yet to be heard in court, the two brothers will remain behind bars. A number of revolutionary groups, including the powerful Muslim Brotherhood, which was outlawed during Mubarak's regime, called for massive protests at Tahrir Square, the symbolic home of the uprising. Many were upset that Mubarak wasn't found guilty on all charges. They said the verdict was an indication that the old Mubarak regime is still influencing the judiciary. "Justice was not served," said Ramadan Ahmed, whose son was killed on Jan. 28, 2011. "This is a sham." Human Rights Watch called the verdict a landmark, but criticized the prosecution for failing to fully investigate the case. "It sends a powerful message to Egypt's future leaders that they are not above the law," HRW spokesman Joe Stork said. "These convictions set an important precedent since just over a year ago, seeing Mubarak as a defendant in a criminal court would have been unthinkable." Egypt Set for a Runoff in Presidential Elections The verdict comes at a crucial time, with the country set for a run-off tiebreaker in its president elections. The showdown is a contest between Ahmed Shafiq, a former protégé of Mubarak's, and Mohammed Morsi, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. On his Facebook page, Shafiq declined to comment on the court ruling, but said it shows no one is above the law in Egypt, and that the old regime would never come back. In contrast, a spokesman for Morsi called the verdicts "shocking" and vowed retribution. "I am part of this people who lived for decades under oppression. The blood from the martyrs' wounds is still running. I was, and still am, and will remain a revolutionary until the revolution's aims are realized," said Morsi in a press conference, according to the Egypt Independent. Morsi and Shafiq will go on a head-to-head presidential runoff on June 16-17.

Parashas Nasso: The Priestly Blessing

Rabbi David Katz

In this week’s Torah Portion of Nasso, we come face to face with the Priestly Blessing. As the text states, “May Hashem Bless you and safeguard you. May Hashem illuminate His countenance for you and be gracious to you. May Hashem lift His countenance to you and establish peace for you.” This was the specific request from Hashem to Moses, in regards to Aaron and his sons, as a constant privilege, both in the Temple and for all of time. Today in the absence of the Temple, the Jewish Priests recite the Blessing either daily (depending on the time of community), or in Israel on Sabbath, or outside the Land on Festive occasions. One fascinating time of this recital is on the intermediate days of the three Holidays in the Jewish calendar (Sukkot and Passover); The Priests in numbers that extend into the thousands all recite the Blessing at the Western Wall in Jerusalem at the Temple Mount. The famous visual depiction of the Priest is in his hands, as they are held in formation with a space between the middle and ring fingers (like Spock from Star Trek) while a prayer shawl is placed over one’s head and arms and hands; the recital comes from this posture.

In the Hebrew of the Blessing, we find three distinct traces to the original Priesthood (Shem / Malki Tzedek), signaling the Priesthood and its proper roots. The isolated concepts are: “May Hashem Bless you”, “May Hashem be Gracious to you”, and “Establish Peace for you.” The Hebrew for these expressions is: יברכך,ויחנך, שלום – Bless you, Grace you, Peace.

The concept of a Blessing [to you] is a direct hint that we can trace back to Shem and Abraham. When we remember the story of Shem and Abraham, Shem had been offering the Torah for 400 years, and only when Abraham rose up and sought after God, did Shem finally find a candidate to inherit the Priesthood into a Nation of Priests that through the Priesthood, the Torah could be given and eternally given over, all within the laws of the Priesthood. This is the basis of what took place with Shem and Abraham and the nature of their exchange.

It is often (not correctly) said that Shem sinned with Abraham by not Blessing God first. Yet the Zohar, the main Kabalistic work, explains that what Shem did was most fitting for the occasion, as he Blessed Abraham first. In the context of Shem as High Priest, and in light of the Priestly Blessing, this could not be truer. When we look at the Priestly Blessing in its natural state, it says “May Hashem Bless you.” This expresses quite clearly what Shem bestowed onto Abraham, for Abraham Blessed Shem (innately Priestly) and Shem returned with a Priestly Blessing, “May [Hashem] Bless you” as Shem said, “Blessed is Abraham to God Above.” [Lech Lecha] With the second part of the Blessing, “…And Safeguard you”, is a hint to the Sabbath that the two were observing (as the Priestly Blessing is essential to Sabbath), represented by the Bread and Wine that Shem had brought out to Abraham. (Bread and Wine states Rashi, is a hint of the Priesthood, in reference to the Offerings and Libations in the Temple that would ultimately be at the Temple Mount of which they were standing on at that moment.) In the Midrash, it states that Pre-Sinai Sabbath is considered to be “Kept” as opposed to be “Remembered” as depicted in the 10 Commandments style of language. Thus we find that the Priestly Blessing in its first stanza, is a very accurate depiction of what happened between Shem and Abraham. It is then understood that it was with the Priestly Blessing that Abraham merited the Priesthood from Shem and merited the entire Torah within the laws of the Priesthood.

The Priestly Blessing next goes onto “Be Gracious to you.” The word for Gracious is spelled in its root with the same two letters that compose the name “Noah” which is the combination of a nun and chet (נ ח) in Hebrew. We find a hint of this that Noah found Grace in the eyes of God. Grace is Noah backwards. Yet another deeper angle of this nun and chet combination is when they are seen as initial letters; in this way they stand for “Hidden Wisdom.” Thus Noah and his Grace are synonymous with his knowledge of Hidden Wisdom. It was this Wisdom that he intimately imparted within his Torah over to Shem.

From here we can appreciate the Greatness of what happened between Abraham and Shem. With the giving of the Torah, Laws, Priesthood, etc. over to Abraham, Shem performed this with Hidden Wisdom. Abraham then had firsthand knowledge of how Ancient Kabbalah works, directly from Shem himself, as it was given in the form of Grace, and in the same way that Noah had given over to Shem. It is as if Shem who had seen all that his father Noah had done in the transition from old world to new world, that he sought to do a rectification, one that would ultimately bring the Messianic age of Redemption. Shem had achieved all that Noah did not, in that Noah debased himself thinking he returned the World to the Sabbath of the Garden of Eden. Shem not only rectified the situation, but then gave it over (as Torah means “To give over”) to Abraham in what would be a heritage that would ultimately usher in the Redemption with such entities as Torah, Sabbath, etc. Thus essentially Shem in his Grace, graced Abraham with the Hidden Wisdom of Noah; The essence of Noah would live on spiritually as a “Tzaddik Yesod Olam” - The Righteous, a Foundation of the World. Noah and Shem would exist mutually until the end of Days, as the Talmud says: Shem is one of the four Craftsmen to take part of the Redemption.

The last stanza of the Blessing is that of Shalom/Peace. It is said that the main vessel of a Blessing is Peace. Shem ended his Priestly Blessing to Abraham with just that: Peace. As the two Men stood at The Temple Mount, each saw it a little bit differently. Abraham saw the place as Yirah, or Awesome. Shem then took the opportunity to finalize his [Priestly] Blessing to Abraham and proudly called the Place “Shalom.” This is the source of what we call it today, “Yerushalayim” [made up of Yeru = Yirah (awesome) and Shalom = Shalayim (Peace)] or in English, “Jerusalem.” Thus the Blessing was complete, and the full story of Shem and Abraham, along with all of its significance is embedded within the Priestly Blessing.

If Shem and Abraham are the microcosm of the Messianic Age, Priest-ism’s, and Brotherly Love in the Torah, then each time we read or take part in a Priestly Blessing, we now have an intention to concentrate on each time we experience this. The essence of Shem and Abraham are within the Blessing, and they are the essence of the Torah and what will take part in the End of Days. If Abraham and Malki Tzedek were already somewhat of an anomaly [sitting idly in the midst of the Torah], we now have the means to bring in a seemingly never ending plot of Torah that we can apply through them. We even find an allegorical allusion to Shem and the Noahides at the seal of the Blessing: Let them place my name upon the Children of Israel and I shall Bless them. As the Talmud often says, don’t say “My Name” rather say, “My Shem!” Thus we can read it, “Let them place my “Shem” (In Hebrew this has a Gematria of “Abraham and Sarah -753) upon the “Children of Israel” (Those of a Higher Spiritual Name; i.e. those of Noah, as Noah was the essence of a Higher Spiritual Name), And I shall Bless them. The Midrash says through the Laws of the Priesthood one can learn the Whole Torah. We have now begun to perceive what one can learn through the Priestly Blessing in regards to not only the Revealed dimension of the Torah of Moses, but uncovering the Hidden Wisdom of the Torah of Truth of Shem as well.
