Let's Get Political!

Is this for real? When they said chachmas sofrim [and all the like], I didn't think the in-house fighting would be that bad.
It is.
What happened to the good 'ole days when at least one was called a baal ha-baas or an am ha-aretz? Are we playing by terms of evil [openly] now? If so, the rabbi wars are sure to be prolific at the very least.

Toldos Yaakov Yosef says there are 3 types of galus: a) Israel among nations b) talmid chacham among amei ha-aretz [as was Rebbe Akiva] c) kosher talmidei chachamim among false talmidei chachamim.

Rav Yosef pulled out the big artillery...should we assume the final galus is upon us? In a largely gadol-less dor, it would seem this is our task in the End of Days, to use free will to ascertain kosher from treif, as the Toldos Yaakov Yosef goes on to explain concerning the 3rd type of galus.

Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef issued a fierce attack against candidate for the chief rabbinate Rabbi David Stav Saturday night, calling him "an evil man."

Yosef's comments come just days after the rabbi instructed Shas MKs to block the so called Amar bill which was designed to allow serving Sephardi Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar to stand again for election.

The terms of the deal were for Amar to support Stav in return for Bayit Yehudi helping pass the legislation to enable Amar's re-election.

"This man is dangerous to Judaism, the Torah and the rabbinate," said Yosef in reference to Stav during his weekly Torah lesson.

"Rabbi Amar is an upright and righteous man by they are using his name to elect an evil man who is unfitting to be anything," Yosef continued.

"Suddenly everyone is shouting that they want Stav [as chief rabbi]; if he was a Talmud Hacham [learned Torah Scholar] they would hate him," the rabbi claimed.

On Sunday, the five members of the oversight committee for the chef rabbinate elections will be presented to the cabinet and are expected to be confirmed.

Once this body had been appointed it will no longer be possible to make any legislative changes to the process for electing chief rabbis. This will kill off once and for all any chance of Amar being able to stand again for chief rabbi.

The oversight committee will include for the first time two women, who have been appointed by Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs Eli Ben-Dahan, who emphasised his work in the past promoting women's advancement in society.

Dahan said that he hoped the process would lead to the appointment of a national religious rabbi.

Messianic Undertones From Ashes Of Humility

                                                                     Parashas Chukas
Finding The King Amidst A Fellow’s Ashes
                                                                     Rabbi David Katz

In the beginning of all of these Creations, God created Heaven and Earth. It was soon apparent that Creation would need God’s word, as the highlight of God’s Creation, Man, had drifted off of the divine path, due to one of God’s other creations. This other Creation is called evil, and evil would have a special place with God, for although God regretted creating it as an inclination within Man, for the sake of his reward of having been created, evil would be the catalyst of creation. The end of evil is to be slaughtered to the tears of joy of the righteous [and tears of sorrow for the wicked], yet ironically it revert to ways of Good, showing that all that God does is actually the highest good. Evil then, will one day contain the best of God, of which the 6th Day of His Creation is witness to the restoration of evil to be within the boundary of good, making it Very Good; evil all along was actually an agent of God to teach the highest Good that God can do – revealing His mastery of Creation in an entirely righteous fashion. This is a story of God, He  who is Good.

Man was created to perform the Will of God, and had he succeeded, reality would have been painted with a different picture. Perhaps we would all be thanking the first man, Adam, for having chosen wisely in the command of the Garden of Eden. Or perhaps Noah’s sons would have all been righteous and would have chosen a different route of World population [and respect to Noah in that area]. Needless to say, there are an infinite number of ways that Creation could have/would have/should have been perfected from the very first instance of man; yet man has stumbled. However, these efforts would not be for naught, nor would the men of the earlier times be left devoid of Divine Revelation. One day all that was recorded above, would serve as a function of delivery in God’s master plan. This plan is called the Torah; the eternal word of God.

History would soon take the path to Very Good from the dust of defeat, for Adam’s lineage would one day merit a Shem son of Noah, who would set his sights on the Tree of Life, live forever, know not of this evil, and diligently serve God to repair history’s wrong. Shem had in mind one massive goal – to help inspire a Nation that would reiterate his achievements in principle, such that this would warrant a revelation of God’s Torah to be delivered in front of a live audience of Shem’s offspring. To make this vision clear, Shem sought after and found a willing candidate to set things in motion, someone that would inherit the entire World in the order of Torah. This Man was Abraham, and he did in fact fulfill his divine mission, as it is he who is considered the father of what will be the two nations that live out God’s Will in a time of Universal repair; the Nation of Israel and the Nations of Gerim. One Book, One Torah would serve Mankind under this pretext.

Many peoples, generations, and miracles later would culminate into the promised revelation of a Giving of the Torah, through the hands of a King named Moses. Moses was born from Kings, raised amongst Kings, became a King, and died with a crown on his head, placed there as such. Moses was a unique King, for while the scepter was in his hand, he still was able to clearly perceive the King of Kings, Hakadosh Baruch Hu. This King of Kings isn’t like flesh and blood, for He demands righteousness and nothing short of absolute devotion towards sanctifying His Great and Holy Name. For this, Moses would be a Man of great Might, and the Torah of Fire[y Law] would be given through him, and delivered by a mouth that could only be opened by The Lord Himself, for Moses was of heavy tongue and uncircumcised lips.

Moses found himself appointed as King, for he came knocking on the footstep of God, by the fact that he seemed to speak God’s language. God trusted Moses more than any other Man, for only God knows the heart of Man; moreover, who dare to stand up against Moses – he who stands before the Presence of God! Hence Moses, was certainly the King’s King amongst man.

God wished to make Moses not only a King over the exiles, but it was His will to bring Moses to God’s Holy Land and place him as King over all that belongs to God! For this to happen, Moses would need to deliver God’s Word that he knew all too well over the entire World. While this was no small task, Moses would seek to rule over all who inquired of God [at that time it was conceivable that the whole World would come to recognize God], by adhering to God’s strict word, and breathing endless divine fire among the people, making Offerings of their own evil, a natural combustion for those applying the yolk of heaven upon their souls. A miraculous time it was – forty years of Divine Revelation from every unexpected twist and turn, highlighting history as a miraculous strand of divine encounter that would finally surface when the King of King’s would yet call one’s name and number. Such was the Divine Code of all those who stood on unique holy ground  before God, yet Moses remained steadfast carve the eternal Torah of Fire into the hearts of the populace; Ger and Israelite…as one before God, thought to express God’s unique sovereignty over Man as One.

While Moses stood with certainty as a true scholar of the Lord, keeping pace with Torah of then, now, and beyond [as Moses was the highest order of prophecy; a type delivered by God], issues of poor scholarship would arise both in the camp of Torah, and in the spectrum of all of time; Moses’ wrath to such frivolous behavior would only burn even greater – who dare arouse Moses, the Man of God!? Fate would have it, that this is actually the very essence of the evil that God created, as a test of freewill and essential scholarship to ascertain that which belongs to God, or God Forbid, to God’s creations of evil, which only serve as the basis for such choice on the basis of reward and punishment.

After some time, God wished to bring Moses and the people into God’s sacred Land where God’s name would be expressed as One, and Moses would be called upon to accurately reflect God’s Holy Kingdom, sanctifying God in the eyes of all; Gerim and Israelites. Moses was prime to succeed, for there were none like Moses until this time; thus Moses carried on as usual, through being commanded to breathe his fire through the breathe of speaking to a rock of many miracles [present and future]. Yet Moses was a man of truth, and by the nature of that truth, he would exist as Man, in his merit, Moses would never be worshipped as a god to idolatry in his great merit of humility. The drawback to such great humility is the assumption that all are equal before God; this would allow Moses to err in that he would bark orders to the nobles as he perceived the same upon himself. Moreover, Moses would soon realize that he in fact conducted affairs not to only the nobles as such, but to all who stood in line for counsel from the Lord and His Torah.

The wrath of Moses burned even the heart of God, to such extent that the Kingdom of Heaven was God forbid tarnished, for God looks to the heart of every Man, as per the deeds of Man; a providence individual for all. Moses portrayed an inaccurate account of God’s heavenly Mazal, and instead displayed a mazal of nature, one that the Torah stresses to step out from under, as this is the shroud of God’s creation called evil. The King of King’s knows all of His subjects by unique name and number, whereas Moses only related to the evil of man and the Torah as its antidote; such was the mission of Moses as the giver of the eternal Torah. Ironically, Moses would give the Torah, God’s portion, and even death, all from the same miraculous hand, as he would be buried in the plains of the evil Moav, to the exclusion of the song that Israel sang [and will sing] in light of God’s numerous miracles.

Such would be the Mazal of God for every generation [Jew and Ger] until the last days, where God’s miracles would somehow be hidden by God’s creation of evil. All who stood to perceive the hand of God, even Moses [as it is said of Moses as well, that he WILL sing; i.e. in the End of days], will inherently praise God, and ultimately die, having those praises and prayers [that come from miracles] aimed towards those who will aim their hearts to the Messianic Peak of Faith, in the Days of Darkness, as they shall be devoid of God’s Presence, having no recollection of a connection [being connected; a point-connected- perception of providence to the point of revelation of God’s hand in an intimate expression of life] in a lonely physical I-Pod Coca Cola Disney World.

In the blink of an eye, in a time where Torah scholars must be able to ascertain who is true from who is false, a time that the Torah will be under siege from the prophesied Gog [v’Magog], the holy ones [which as per the laws of the Red Heifer, Holy applies to Jews and Gerim – Gra; “…and the Ger amongst you”] will be prayed for by history’s Men of Torah, a prayer service led by Moses himself, he who for the sake of his fire, was forced to lay in the plains of Moav. From the ashes of death, God has promised to spawn new life, from the endless tears of redemption. Yesterday’s miracles are to stand as today’s salvation rights, and ways of error and duress, remain pathways of repair.

Moses was indeed challenged by one man named Korach, and ironically Korach’s hidden agenda was that he believed Moses wasn’t a King; he was bold enough to speak a sour truth. Yet the Haftorah explains that it is Korach’s offspring, the righteous Shmuel, who was appointed to elect a King in David. Hashem did not wish for the people to request a king, for even Moses came up short in this endeavor, and Moses was the most trusted of God’s Men. Yet the people persisted, Shmuel was sent, David was found, and the Messiah was born. This time, God would intervene and inspire a King Messiah in David and his seed; this King would reflect the Kingdom of God. For where Moses spoke the harsh truth [and was attacked by as such from Korach], David would live the hard truth [by which merit he would exist by], allowing him to sanctify God – knowing all by unique name and number, identifying them by their name as it stands in the place of God’s Word.  For David, all are unique to God, due to the spirit God places upon him so that all should know God, and evil and death would be swallowed up forever; Very Good is the Messiah [who comes on the auspicious 6th day].

Like Abraham before him, Moses would be humble, seek to destroy his evil, and he considered himself to be ashes, for he said, “What are we?” Yet it was his humility and ashes that would resonate as the most ominous flask of Red Heifer purifying water; a Messianic mission defined through the riddle that Solomon wrestled with his own Messianic Mind in the name of the Red Heifer. Yet from a Creation infested with evil and soon to be realized one that is governed by real mazal, star will be born named David. Moses was, is, and always will be a King, yet it’s the Prophet Moses of whom never again in Israel will there be another.

Just as Moses’ fire made the Tablets turn to dust and ashes, of which God praises Moses at the Torah’s conclusion, and ironically to his own demise – shall serve as the purifying waters that David will soak the Lord with through his essential Torah that parallels Moses. To prove as such, David is destined to come from Ruth, she who comes from Moav; a seed planted within Israel, as they settle in the plains of Moav to the conclusion of Parashas Chukas, the parsha that goes on record as seeing beyond the evil, in the ironic equality expressed in the secret of the Ger and the Jew. What may have been true for Moses, and a fact for Korach, was just life for David; and God found His King, one who personifies the mystery of the Red Heifer.

Israel-derberg Factions

Peres turned 90, and no it doesn't stand for the gematria of צ. NWO anyone?
[liberatarian paternalism anyone?]

All of his friends are here from yesterday's politics, and I believe they may have even cloned Hertzl and Ben Gurion to join up with old school Mikhail Gorbachev and everyone's favorite Chicagoan Operative Rahm-bo.

Iran's election is on Friday and in Israel they are partying like it is 1999 - literally.
This is very similar to a bad superhero flick, only its real, and its catered for Peres? Really?

JPost.com:

It is going to be the biggest show in town. President Shimon Peres' 90th birthday celebrations are scheduled to get underway on Tuesday. The festivities will be broadcast not only on Israeli television, radio and websites, but also globally.

The celebrations are meant to mark not only the birthday of Peres, but the fact that he is the oldest leader in the world. Taking place at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem, it is expected to be a giant production with more than 3,000 invitees arriving from Israel and around the world.

Peres’ birthday bash also serves as the opening event for the fifth annual Presidential Conference, which will run for three days and this year will take place at Hebrew University.

So who is expected to stop by to honor the president? World leaders and politicians slated to attend include former US President Bill Clinton, former USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Prince Albert of Monaco, and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Hollywood stars including Barbra Streisand, Robert DeNiro and Sharon Stone will also attend. The list also includes Nobel Prize winners Daniel Kahneman and Dan Shechtman, technology moguls, business entrepreneurs, and of course Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ministers and MKs, mayors, the chief-of-staff, and the heads of the Mossad and the Shin Bet.

Others scheduled to attend: Rona Ramon (widow of astronaut Ilan Ramon), Keren Goldwasser (widow of kidnapped soldier Ehud Goldwasser), students, soldiers, families of fallen soldiers and others.

The program includes Barbra Streisand's rendition of “Avinu Malkeinu” in Hebrew, at Peres’ request. Peres told Streisand that every time he hears her sing the song, he tears up. The reason? In his youth, Peres would hide under the prayer shawl of his grandfather, a rabbi, when he sang the hymn in the synagogue on the eve of Yom Kippur. It is likely that Streisand will also sing the national anthem in Hebrew.

Other planned entertainment includes singers Shlomo Artzi and Eyal Golan, the Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Zubin Mehta, the Mayumana dance troupe, and a children’s chorus. Peres’ granddaughters, Eden (6) and Maya (8) will go onstage to wish their grandfather “mazal tov.” This will be followed by a stand-up show from one of Israel's most popular comedians.

Blair, Clinton, Netanyahu and Streisand will all speak as well, and others who could not attend will send video greetings: US President Barack Obama, Russian President Valdimir Putin, respresentatives of France and Germany, and a closing by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

U2’s Bono, Michael Douglas and Jason Alexander, as well as notable leaders from the global Jewish community will also be delivering recorded birthday greetings.

The Presidential Conference is expected to cost around NIS 11 million, and organizers emphasize that the birthday celebration, which constitutes the opening event, is not being financed by public funds or the state budget, but rather by private donations from Jewish organizations and private financers. All the entertainers and speakers will appear as volunteers and will receive no payment, but the conference will cover the speakers' travel expenses.

Peres has asked that those invited not bring him gifts. “It is not something celebratory that I grew by a year, but it is a good opportunity to show the world Israel's accomplishments, and for this I am happy.”

Korach Had No Clue, While Amalek Still Argues The Point

                                                                Parashas Korach
                                                       From Gifts alongside Gerim
                                                                Rabbi David Katz

Parahas Korach follows the Ger in Torah template to perfection, for the Parsha doesn’t only echo, but practically cries out its roots well into the Oral Torah. Where one person may see the story of Korach’s rebellion and baseless argumentation [machlokes – not in the sake of heaven; influence seen as Amalek in behavior, the evil Nation that is promised to be wiped out in the End of Days], the true beauty of the Parsha is the wealth of Oral Torah tradition in the peripheral of the Parsha, such that it is largely triggered by Torah of the Ger – at root level.

Amidst the rebellion we are calmly confronted with new concepts such as, Priestly Gifts, possessions, inheritance, Land by Tribes, etc. such that from a few verses in the Parsha, triggers practically all of the Oral component called “Bava” [Tractate “damages”], and when seen from the Ger perspective [which is also rooted deep in the valleys of “Bava”; see Tosfos 111b and the Ger Tzedek], a whole new dimension to Oral Torah learning is illuminated before the eyes of the beholder. Just one tweak of recognizing the Ger in Parashas Korach, and Bava Metzia [and all of Bava; - Kama, Metzia, Basra (first, middle, and last gates)] all of a sudden becomes Parashas Korach in Technicolor, due to the precept – “the Torah is written in the language of the Ger.” [Zohar]

Upon first glance through the Parsha, one may be hard pressed to spot the Ger in the text, and the obvious option to resort to would be to make a Priestly connection, predicated on the dictum, “a Ger who learns Torah is compared to a High Priest.” Although this is correct, and will yield significant bounty, an undertone that registers throughout the Parsha is a topic/character that we will become quite familiar with over the next few weeks, one who is Messianic in nature and highly symbolic of Gerim in Torah [history]; this is none other than Pinchas the Priest, son of Aaron. It should send off bells and whistles just mentioning Aaron in context with Parashas Korach, pegged alongside the entire Priestly debate, and the table is set for a plunge into the deeper side of the Parsha.

Pinchas, who is a grandson of Aaron [who kicks the door in to become a Priest, as he was not grandfathered in as for having been born as a grandson at the time of Sinai, i.e. not a son of Aaron], highlights nearly all of the Bava [Talmudic] discussions in the Parsha, such as inheritance, possession, priestly gifts, Priests and “their Land” [which is traditionally not given to the tribe of Levi, as the Parsha specifically points out] etc., yet what separates Pinchas from the traditional Priestly lot, is not the possessions themselves, but how he came to possess in the first place!

If we think back to last week’s Parsha [which a theme of Bamidbar is the wonderful flow amongst its Parshiot in these matters; a true story immerges, reminiscent of Bereishit] and recall Joshua and Caleb, who had a different spirit than the rest of the spies, it is seen that they were successful in the Land largely, if not entirely, because they each embraced the Ger. Caleb was seen connecting to the Ger Tzedek in the Avot, while Joshua was mysteriously buried in Jericho which would become synonymous with him in his Torah legacy. It was there that the spies Pinchas and Caleb [ring a bell?] met up with a family of Righteous Gerim [and these two spies were sent by none other than Joshua], headed by the inn-keeper Rachav, who would later become Joshua’s wife, to which most never offer a second glance with the ramifications of such a union. This raises issue as to who was Rachav, what was her exact relationship with Joshua, and where/how/why/where/when does Pinchas fit into this [apparent and odd] love triangle.

The Talmud Megilah states that Joshua married Rachav, and it is clear that their relationship on some level began as a product of Joshua’s conquering Israel through Jericho as a “buchor” [a young Torah scholar, to which the Torah testifies to this distinction, as a student of Moses], through his efforts of dropping the bow and arrow bit, and fighting through Love and Peace as a Ger enthusiast, realizing that the World truly was desperate to hear about the Truth of God. This is a hint of what we learn from the Torah, in that vessels of war will become extinct in the End of Days [a time when most people would think that we need them the most!], and that there is an alternative method of perspective of the ancient Jewish warrior; from being a “quasi neo ninja” to a true Man of War [as King David], which the Kabbalah learns as being effective in the Oral Torah and prayer.

These concepts are easily seen as [in relation to the] Ger in every way, and as they are acute Ger attributes/components, one can easily see why David said, “I am a Ger.” An original template can be seen through Joshua, who was the elected one to carry the essence of Torah into Israel, as the buchor who most understood Moses’ final message [and essential philosophy and naturally Kabbalistic message of Torah] as the departing King of Jushuron [Israel]. [Joshua and Caleb were both said to have reached the spiritual and righteous level called “Kruvim” (Angelic); similar to the Kruvim who are stationed to guard the way of the Tree of Life by their fiery swords. Thus they were operating on a Tree of Life distinction as opposed to the Korach driven Tree of Knowledge.]

Joshua and Rachav wed at some point, and their offspring was said to have produced the finest Priests and Prophets in Israel’s History. Yet one function of their fertility was the lone ability to produce females, for males would be rendered spiritually impossible due to the circumstance of Joshua’s unique level he attained that hinted of angelic quality and caliber in soul root. As this is true in practical spiritual terms, it is also a product to the nature of their marriage in Torah Law, for Joshua differed from Caleb, in that Caleb pursued the path of the concubine to enhance the tradition of the Ger, whereas Joshua actually made his wedding canopy entirely from the seed of the Ger Tzedek, i.e. The Family of Rachav.

Joshua carries a special weight in his lineage that was put on the line through his union with Rachav, for Joshua is the end of the line of the First Born continuum that extended from Abraham, manifesting through Joshua by way of Joseph and Ephraim culminating with the marriage with Rachav. By way of Joshua and Rachav and more importantly their offspring [females to the negation of the males as was stated], with special precedence being given to perpetuate Priests and Prophets in potential, the stage was never more set for Pinchas to come on board, perpetuate the seed of Joshua [and their common ancestor Joseph, of which Pinchas also is related to on his mother’s side, as a Daughter of Putiel, wife of Elazar, father of Pinchas]. The two [Pinchas & Joshua] represent the secret closeness of Joseph [Ephraim] and Levi as hinted at in the additional “yud” given to [Ye]Hoshea bin Nun by Moses in the spies, as is explained by the Arizal as an impregnation with the Tribal head Levi as a double [firstborn] portion. [*every spy had its Tribal Head infused in each member’s mission]

Pinchas thus married a daughter of Joshua and Rachav [which raised issue after Pinchas’ Priesthood over a similar (impure manner) between Zimri and Cozbi, of the Tribe of Shimon and Midianite women], continued Joseph’s spiritual legacy [as hinted at in Pinchas’ (messianic understood) name] and ultimately inherited a good portion of Land from Joshua, due to the inherent void in his lineage from a lack of male offspring; the male in laws would inherit Joshua, i.e. through Priests and Prophets – among them was Jeremiah. This Land would be known as Givat Pinchas [the Hill of Pinchas] located in the Hills of Ephraim, and buried there to this day is the father of Pinchas, Elazar the Priest, son of Aaron the Priest. This is the same Aaron who in the Parsha was granted victory in Korach’s rebellion, was distinguished as the quintessential Priest, and by as such, it was decreed that the Priest would not have ownership of Tribal Land in the normative sense. The question then must be addressed as to the nature of Pinchas’ Land.

The commentators are all in basic agreement that Pinchas was given the Land by the inhabitants of Ephraim in close proximity to Joshua, as an official and eternal transaction through inheriting his wife [Pinchas lived forever as the eventual manifestation of Elijah literally, and thus was destined to outlive any prospective wife, thus an inheritance. Parashas Pinchas is ironically the source of such Torah Law in conjunction to our Parsha which deals with Priestly Land.] By this acquisition, Pinchas would never lose the Land to Jubilee, and he merited having his righteous father buried on his private lot.  This now brings a special light onto our Parsha that deals with Priestly Land.

The Parsha is clear that no Priest is to own Land, and Pinchas is the joyous exception to the rule [as he is for many ground breaking areas in law and Kabbalistic philosophy such as Messianic truths], one that stems directly from Gerim. Joshua set the stage with his unique view of Torah Law and thought when he coupled with Rachav, a Ger Tzedek, produced by a pre-requisite family (after 40+ years) of Ger Tzedek lineage (akin to Ruth; listed among the three daughters of Shem/Iyov), preparing the footstool for Pinchas and his soulful story [encoded in his name according to the Zohar]. Pinchas seized the moment, as no one would prove to better at standing as a role model to “Pinchas Torah Concepts” than the man Pinchas himself!  What is exceptional to the Pinchas saga is that it is rooted and revealed through the prism of the Ger in our Parsha, and as a set precedence to continue in Torah Scripture. The Land that belongs to Pinchas will forever tell the tale of the sacrifice to Torah Truth that was dually achieved by Pinchas and Joshua, a symbol of their close union, as essential students to Moses and his Kingdom that entered the Land on their behalf.

We are embarking on Pinchas Torah in these next couple of Parshiot, and Korach served as a template of the final stage before redemption as the rebellion against the Torah that could be dubbed as the quintessential Gog [of Magog]. Pinchas according to the Arizal and others is the soul that will contain the messianic mission of the future, restoring the Torah as he did numerous times with sacrificing action, and bringing an end to all opposition to God’s truth. What is often hard to hear is that the Truth is best seen from the objective vantage point of the Ger, and perhaps we see this the most clearly in Parashas Korach. From a simple adjustment of perspective, a wealth of Torah can be understood through Pinchas, to an extent of absolute revelation to the blueprint and DNA of the Oral Torah, which came/comes from Gerim, as often is the case.

Special is the Land of Israel in the eyes of God, coupled with His love of Gerim; for Pinchas was given Land by means of the Ger, Caleb delivered his portion [and his lack of sons as well] to his seed, and we all look forward to the future, when the Temple will be built from the Hands of Heaven, in a time that the Ger Toshav can come home to his land, enjoying the milk and honey that comes served best, while sitting with the best point of view of all those in the Torah. If the Jew represents the Voice of the Turtledove that is heard in the Land, then perhaps someone was there first watching it happen, enjoying the finest parts of the Land.
Look around, and perhaps you may stumble upon the position of the Ger - a wondrous Torah indeed, one seen through the eyes of God. Would the Land stand without a scribe to document His Torah, or would the Torah speak the tongue of a Foreign Land; perhaps one should stand with those in good standing with The Lord Himself, for does he not speak of His Love of the Ger?

I think Glenn is right; what he doesn't realize is that Hashem works out of Zion, and that is where the War will end with Moshiach.

The Blue Collar Messiah

The industrial revolution was predicted and fulfilled by the Zohar to be of the years 1739-1839, upon which when this process would conclude, the Prophecy of Daniel's Messiah would be prime to be revealed.

1739 did in fact happen with revelation from above and below, to the extent that our entire world today is a product of those years that began with luminaries such as the Gra and ended with Rockefeller.

3-D Printing is being hailed as the industry messiah, a sort of bookend to what happened in 1739; now we await the spiritual component of the real order, the real Messiah.

The Tikkun to the shviras hakelim that the world underwent from the sins of the sons of Judah and Tamar that was done by tzaddikim of the First Temple time period, is about to finish its 2200 year bounty that began the light of Moshiach ben Yosef and Ezra's building of the Second Temple. The Gra says Beit Shlishi will happen like the Second Temple, then will take a radical eternal shift for the better.

It would seem the cycles are converging now around this Messianic point in time, to which the Zohar says, Iran will serve for 12 months, attempting to flush out Moshiach ben Yosef, and then will promptly fall once Moshiach ben Yosef is worn out and fallen.

Invisalign, a San Jose company, uses 3-D printing to make each mouthful of customized, transparent braces. Mackenzies Chocolates, a confectioner in Santa Cruz, uses a 3-D printer to pump out chocolate molds. And earlier this year, Cornell University researchers used a 3-D printer, along with injections of a special collagen gel, to create a human-shaped ear.

Once a science-fiction fantasy, three-dimensional printers are popping up everywhere from the desks of home hobbyists to Air Force drone research centers. The machines, generally the size of a microwave oven and costing $400 to more than $500,000, extrude layer upon layer of plastics or other materials, including metal, to create 3-D objects with moving parts.

Users are able to make just about anything they like: iPad stands, guitars, jewelry, even guns. But experts warn this cool innovation could soon turn controversial — because of safety concerns but also the potential for the technology to alter economies that rely on manufacturing.

"We believe that 3-D printing is fundamentally changing the manufacturing ecosystem in its entirety — how and where products are made and by whom," said Peter Weijmarshausen, CEO of New York-based Shapeways, an online company that makes and sells 3-D printed products designed by individuals. Products include a delicate, twig-like egg cup (cost: $8.10) and a lamp that looks like a nuclear mushroom cloud (cost: $1,388.66). "We're on the verge of the next industrial revolution, no doubt about it," added Dartmouth College business professor Richard D'Aveni. "In 25 years, entire industries are going to disappear. Countries relying on mass manufacturing are going to find themselves with no revenues and no jobs."

On ground, sea or air, when parts break, new ones can be made on the spot, and even the tools to install them can be made, eliminating the need for staging parts in warehouses around the world, said Jeff DeGrange, vice president of Direct Digital Manufacturing at Stratasys Inc., currently the industry leader in a field of about 50 3-D printer companies.

"We're going to see innovation happening at a much higher rate, introduction of products at a much higher rate," said DeGrange. "We live in an on-demand world now, and we'll see production schedules are going to be greatly compressed."

Airplane mechanics could print a replacement part on the runway. A dishwasher repairman could make a new gasket in his service truck. A surgeon could print a knee implant custom-designed to fit a patient's body. But the military, D'Aveni said, is likely to be among the first major users of 3-D printers, because of the urgency of warfare.

"Imagine a soldier on a firebase in the mountains of Afghanistan. A squad is attacked by insurgents. The ammunition starts to run out. Is it worth waiting hours and risking the lives of helicopter pilots to drop it near you, or is it worth a more expensive system that can manufacture weapons and ammunition on the spot?" he said. In the past two years, the U.S. Defense Department has spent more than $2 million on 3-D printers, supplies and upkeep, according to federal contract records. Their uses range from medical research to weapons development. In addition, the Obama administration has launched a $30 million pilot program that includes researching how to use 3-D printing to build weapons parts.

NASA is also wading into this arena, spending $500,000 in the past two years on 3-D printing. Its Lunar Science Institute has published descriptions of how it is exploring the possibility of using the printers to build everything from spacecraft parts while in orbit to a lunar base. While the U.S. is pursuing the military advantages of 3-D printing, it's also dealing with the potential dangers of the technology. On May 9, the State Department ordered a group to take down online blueprints for a 3-D printable handgun, and federal lawmakers and some state legislatures are contemplating proposals to restrict posting weapons plans in the future.

Since 2007, when these printers first entered the mainstream marketplace, sales have grown by 7.2 percent each year, according to IBIS World, a company that tracks the industry. Sales are projected to jump from about $1.7 billion in 2011 to $3.7 billion in 2015.

Cliff Waldman, a senior economist at the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, a group that promotes the role of manufacturing in global economies, said it's still too soon to know exactly what impact this 3-D technology could have on more traditional manufacturing. However, he doesn't envision it changing the "fundamental shape" of manufacturing, as others suggest.

"I think 3-D has the capacity to impact both products and processes," he said. "I am not ready to say that it is completely disruptive, however. It might be in a few narrow industries."

Starting in June, office supply chain Staples plans to be the first major retailer to supply 3-D printers with "the Cube," a plug-in device that uses 16 colors and costs $1,299. And in September the smallest and cheapest 3-D printer on the market — a printing pen priced from $50 — is due to start shipping. Similar to a glue gun, the 3Doodler plugs into the wall and is filled with cylinders of plastic that come out of a 518-degree Fahrenheit tip. Once the plastic leaves the pen it cools and hardens.

Makers Peter Dilworth, an inventor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Maxwell Bogue, a toy maker, first pitched their pens earlier this year on a website for startup projects. They sought $30,000 and wound up collecting $2.3 million from more than 26,000 investors, who each got one of the 3-D pens. Four artists who teamed up with the men have used the pens to make a mini Eiffel Tower, earrings and butterfly pendants.
