Every Western intelligence agency estimated it would happen soon, and now, according to all indications, it has: Bashar Assad tried to reward Nasrallah and his men - who are fighting and dying for him – by transferring modern, surface-to-surface missiles that would alter the balance of power between the Lebanese Shiite group and Israel. The Jewish state, it was reported, intervened and thwarted, just as the prime minister, defense minister and IDF chief had promised it would. It is safe to assume that the arms convoy was about to leave the storage facility at the Syrian army base toward the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon when it was hit.

The attacked storage facility is apparently located in an isolated base used for training Hezbollah terrorists in the use of "deterrence-breaking" weapons and also serves as a transit station for Nasrallah's organization on the way to Lebanon. Syria has a number of such facilities in the Damascus area and in the coastal region, where most of the Alawite and Shiite-Lebanese population is located. Israeli aircraft flew over Lebanon in the past few days – mainly over south Lebanon, and even carried out simulated attacks. These flyovers were most likely meant to signal to Hezbollah and Syria: We are aware of your intentions and we will not sit idly by – as Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon warned. It seems, at least according to the American media, that the warning signals were ignored, forcing an attack on the arms convoy.

The attack itself, one can assume, was not carried out from within Lebanese territory, but from a long distance. Perhaps even from over the sea. It is known that Israel has lethal long-range weapons systems – such as the Popeye air-to-surface missile manufactured by Rafael – which allows for very accurate hits from a range of over 100 kilometers (62 miles), maybe even much more. Just so you know, Mr. Khamenei.

Among the strategic and modern weapons systems Israel said it would not allow to be transferred to Lebanon are the Scud D ballistic missiles - based on the original Russian Scud – which Syria developed with Iran's funding. These missiles can carry chemical warheads containing the advanced chemical warfare agent VX to a distance of up to 680 kilometers (423 miles). It is important to stress that according to the relatively credible reports from the Pentagon, the attacked weapons systems did not contain chemical warfare agents – but potentially they could have.

The accurate long-range missiles Assad is trying to transfer to Hezbollah present two problems for Israel: They endanger military facilities and civilians from the north almost all the way to Eilat; and they can be activated far from the border – for instance, from the Hezbollah-controlled area in Lebanon's northern Bekaa Valley – in a manner which would make it difficult for Israeli warplanes to reach them quickly and thwart the launching. The good news is that the "Arrow" system is capable of intercepting - if the number of missiles fired does not exceed a certain amount. Therefore, Hezbollah has an interest in receiving from Syria the largest amount possible of ballistic missiles and long-range rockets of all types –mainly Scud missiles.

According to foreign sources, the Assad regime had already succeeded – even before the civil war broke out – to transfer to Hezbollah in Lebanon a small number of Scud D missiles. Israel was aware but refrained from acting due to Washington's objection. It happened roughly two-and-a-half years ago: The American administration feared an Israeli attack would undermine stability in the Middle East, and the fighter jets, which were already in the air, returned to base. It is safe to assume that since then the Obama administration has changed its position on the issue.

The advanced Scud is not the only weapon capable of breaking the balance of deterrence. Other weapons systems are capable of limiting the IDF's ability to operate deep inside Lebanon should Hezbollah decide to launch a missile and rocket attack. These systems mostly include mobile, "stealth," and accurate anti-aircraft missile batteries and radar facilities which are difficult to locate – particularly the SA-17 surface-to-air missiles, which Russia recently supplied to Syria. The request for the SA-17 was made in the aftermath of the strike on Syria's nuclear reactor in 2007. Now Russia is transferring these missiles to deter NATO from operating as it did in Libya. Assad, for his part, is trying to reward Nasrallah and make things difficult for the Israeli Air Force. This is why an SA-17 battery was attacked last January as it was being transferred to from western Damascus to the Lebanese border.

Hezbollah is also after the anti-ship cruise missiles Russia sold Syria, particularly the "Yakhont" missile. Hezbollah already has in its possession obsolete Iranian-made land-to-sea missiles, such as the one that struck the Israeli missile boat "Hanit" during the Second Lebanon War. But the "Yakhont" is much more advanced and dangerous. It has a 300-kilometer (186 miles) range, it flies at a very high altitude and is equipped with the most advanced systems. The "Yakhont" can serve as a very accurate and devastating missile against targets along Israel's coastline if launched from the Syrian or Lebanese coast.

According to military journals in Russia, the "Yakhont" has the ability to zero in on a target very accurately with a GPS system. The missile has the unique ability of being able to cruise several meters above the water surface, making it difficult to detect and intercept. In short, no gas field is safe from this missile, and, should Hezbollah obtain the "Yakhont," it would make it risky for Navy vessels to sail off Lebanon's coast. Just so you know, Mr. Putin.

It is safe to assume that the recent attack targeted surface-to-surface missiles, mostly because Assad and his army do not need these missiles to fight the rebels and can therefore afford to transfer them to Nasrallah, so he could use them against Israel when the opportunity arises (from Nasrallah and Iran's standpoint). If such an opportunity does not arise, Hezbollah will be asked to return the missiles to the Syrian army, in the event that Assad's regime survives.

In addition, the Syrian regime fears that after it used nerve gas against its citizens the West and NATO may launch a military operation. Obama has already said that such an operation would not be conducted on the ground, meaning it would mostly likely be launched from the air, from bases in Turkey, for instance, as well as from the sea – from aircraft carriers and destroyers. One of the plans is to attack missiles that can be used to launch chemical weapons. In order to fend off such an attack the Syrian army would need all its modern surface-to-air batteries and every "Yakhont" launcher it currently has or can obtain from Russia. Therefore, it is unlikely that Assad will transfer vital weapons systems to Hezbollah in Lebanon at this time.

It is interesting that the reports of the recent attack came from Washington and not from sources in the region. During the attack on the SA-17 battery a few months ago, the US remained silent, but gave the impression that it was not against the operation and that it was justified, because Israel is entitled to defend itself. Obama reaffirmed this position during his visit in March. The US made it very clear it does not want "game-changing" advanced weapons to be transferred from Syria to terror elements – particularly Hezbollah. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel reiterated this position during his meeting with Ya'alon last month.

Now Washington is making sure to leak to all American media outlets that Israel attacked and what the target was. It is safe to assume that this tactic was employed because Assad's regime tried to "save face" and conceal the blow it had received, and also because the Obama administration, in accordance with its new agreements with Israel, it trying to show Syria and its supporters – Iran, Russia and China – that the US is serious when it says that "all options are on the table." The message: We stand by Israel when it protects itself.

Likud stalwarts and their colleagues in the Israeli media are up in arms on Tuesday in the wake of Jeffrey Goldberg’s report on U.S. President Barack Obama’s critical remarks about Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. “He’s intervening in our elections,” Bibi champions protest, a complaint which, no pun intended, is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Obama is the second president who stands accused of meddling in the Israeli vote. The first was Shimon Peres. Ironically, the remarks of both presidents were made a while ago – Obama’s last month, when Netanyahu announced the construction at E-1 near Ma'ale Adumim and Peres’ in an interview to the New York Times conducted a full six months ago. In both cases, therefore, it’s the timing of the publication, rather than their original intent, that gives rise to the accusations of interference.

In their essence, the messages of both presidents are identical: there is only one solution, and it is the two-state solution; the government’s settlement policies are undermining any chance of achieving it; Israel risks alienating world public opinion and facing “near total isolation”, as Obama reportedly said, if it continues on its current path; and Netanyahu has disappointed those who believed (probably just Peres) that he had the courage and the wisdom to change the destructive direction in which Israel is headed.

Astute political players that they are, Netanyahu’s defenders are happy to “kill the messengers” as a means of obscuring their message. Peres and Obama, admittedly, are convenient punching bags on the Israeli right. Both are considered to be ridiculously naïve about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, both have been previously humiliated by Netanyahu and both supposedly have the Israeli right wing’s worst interests at heart. For hardcore right-wingers, the very fact that Obama and Peres are warning against a certain political path is reason enough to follow it blindly.

But it is not the legions of die-hard right-wingers that Bibi’s people are worried about, but the soft core supporters: those who are not too enthusiastic about Netanyahu but far less so about any of the alternatives; those who may actually support a two-state solution in theory but have no doubt that it is not achievable in practice; those who don’t support the construction of settlements outside the so-called “blocs” but have come to believe that Israel has been building to its settlers’ content while enjoying four years of security, prosperity and, relatively speaking, international popularity as well.

These voters may not love Obama and perhaps not even trust him, but they would prefer to believe that Israel’s prime minister can get along with him or, at the very least, contain him, as Netanyahu appears to have done during the president’s first term in office.

Netanyahu’s campaign depends on convincing such moderate Likud-Beiteinu voters that the prime minister can maintain his careful balancing act during his next tenure as well. Likud’s elections propaganda include photos of Netanyahu hobnobbing with Obama, shaking hands with Angela Merkel and bringing both houses of Congress to their feet, while continuing to build, build, build and then build some more.

The message from Peres and Obama, intended or not, is just the opposite: Israel is burying its head in the sand, its policies are growing increasingly unpopular, the world’s patience is running out and the country is heading for a fall, even it doesn’t seem that way at this very moment. Israel, Obama and Peres are warning, has been living off its overdraft for far too long, and its credit line is about to expire.

The cumulative effect of Obama’s words and Peres’ warnings won’t be too dramatic in absolute numbers, given that the center left has tragically failed to offer any plausible alternative to Netanyahu and is busy squandering the public’s goodwill on embarrassing internal squabbles. On the other hand, although Netanyahu and the right-wing bloc have practically been declared the winners in these elections well before the voting starts, it doesn’t really take a truly profound shift to the center-left to change the equation and to render all present prognostications worthless.

The right-wing religious bloc currently receives about 65-67 seats compared to 53-55 for the center right. A last minute move to the left by wavering centrist Likud voters and a break in its direction among the 20 percent of undecided could upset the apple cart and create a virtual tie between the two blocs that would utterly change the dynamics of post-election maneuvers.

Five days before voters head to the polls, the last thing Netanyahu needs is to contend with Obama’s attempt, intentional or otherwise, to inject a dose of reality into Israel’s LaLaLand election campaign. In the 1996 elections, when he was first elected as prime minister, no less than 8 Knesset seats moved from Peres to Netanyahu over the last weekend before election day. A worrier by nature, Netanyahu is well aware that it ain’t really over until it’s really over, and now he has to fret that perhaps it ain’t really over yet.

Reliving '67 in '13 - The '45' of Moshiach

The Midrash says: that Moshiach will be revealed, concealed, and revealed again; a difference of 45 years. They learn this from Moshe Rabbeinu, who himself was revealed, concealed, and revealed again; for this Moshe is the principle of "The First Redeemer will be like the Final Redeemer [based on Mishlei - a remez of Moshe's name].

It is now 45 years since the 6-Day War. Was that war the beginning of the Revelation of Moshiach? - It certainly seemed like they could have made it the Geulah, built the Temple, and give the final blow to Islam - look at the picture above!

So are we 45 years later into final revelation - i.e. "in a Guf?" MBY----> MBD

If one were to watch the news in '67 and wake up today, would there be any difference of what is being reported? Gaza, Golan, Syria, etc, etc.

So now as we take our final tours of Syria, Israel is ready to erupt in some way shape or form. It seems impossible to keep status qua much longer - for better or worse.

Israel seems to be preparing itself for the collapse of the Assad regime.

For now, Israel’s biggest concern about the possible fall of Assad seems to be the fate of Syria’s chemical weapons. According to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel is cooperating with the US and international community on this issue. But when Assad falls, his regime’s chemical weapons will not be the only possible threat to the State of Israel.

In the case of a Syrian civil war, Iran is likely to do its utmost to bleed Israel diplomatically, economically and militarily by drawing it into a long guerrilla war in Syria. Tehran was hoping that this would happen during the recent conflict in Gaza, but was disappointed when the war only lasted eight days. Hasan Hanizadeh, a Tehran-based strategic-affairs analyst, recently told the Associated Press that "Iran is concerned about the power of pro-Saudi forces if Assad is brought down." Hanizadeh believes that as a result, “Iran is trying to organize other groups in Syria as alternatives, just in case." Part of this organization is likely to include setting up weapons caches inside Syria which can also be used against Israeli targets. The question which we in Israel must ask ourselves is this: Are we ready to meet this threat?

In terms of a military response, Israel has overwhelming firepower in the air and on the ground, as well as a sophisticated missile-defense system. Israel can also use the commanding Golan Heights to locate and fire back at rebels that target its army and civilians.

But being militarily prepared is not going to be sufficient. As the recent Gaza war showed, Israel will also need to be diplomatically prepared as well. After all, it was the lack of diplomatic credibility which stopped Netanyahu from launching a massive ground operation against Gaza militants. To attack targets in Syria, Israel will need as much diplomatic credibility as it needed in Gaza, if not more.

After all, to counter the threats from Syria, Israel is going to have to attack the territory of an Arab country. This could have many consequences in the Arab world, including with countries with whom Israel has relations, such as Jordan and Egypt. As much as Egypt would be against the spread of the Iranian regime’s presence and influence in post-Assad Syria, its unlikely to sit idly and watch continued Israeli strikes against territory of another Arab country.

The Egyptians may not say anything about the first 10 aerial Israeli strikes against Syrian territory, but after that, they are probably going to want to become involved. This is especially true since Egypt under President Mohammed Morsi is trying to become the leader of the Arab Sunni world. There are also domestic challenges which Morsi’s government is facing, from which he will want to divert attention, and therefore, the chances that he will want to be seen stopping Israeli attacks against Syrian territory increase even more.

What Iran will be hoping is that Israel will continue with its settlement construction, because that would reduce Israel’s diplomatic ability to justify its attacks against Syrian territory. Although Israel has every right to respond to attacks against its sovereignty, the fact that it has been provoking the Arab world and the EU with recent settlement expansions means that tolerance for Israeli military action in against the territory of another Arab country will be lower. The recent deterioration in relations between Israel and the EU over construction plans in Jerusalem’s E1 area has been a gift for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. For a long time, the Iranian regime has wanted to see Israel and the EU grow apart, but it was unable to do much about this. This is especially true about Israel’s relations with Catherine Ashton, who heads the EU’s nuclear-negotiation team with Iran. Over the years, the Iranian regime has been angered by what it sees as Ashton's closeness with the Israeli government over the issue of Iran’s nuclear program. 

The Iranian regime must now be very content with Netanyahu’s recent settlement decision, as it has raised Ashton's ire, something which Iran has always wanted. Khamenei has also wanted the Israeli government to be placed under EU sanctions. All it has to do now is to wait and see whether Netanyahu will do the job for him by building more settlements. That is further down the line. What is more immediate is the emerging threat from Syria. Israel’s northern citizens will be in the crosshairs of Iran’s allies in Syria. Israel will need to respond such a threat, and to do so effectively, it will need to end its self-imposed isolation, brought about by counter-productive settlement policies. Firepower alone won’t be enough.

Syrian government warplanes struck a large Palestinian refugee camp in the capital Damascus on Sunday, prompting a massive exodus, reported an opposition group.

At least eight civilians were killed in the bombardment of the Yarmuk camp in southern Damascus, added the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The attack was followed by fierce clashes inside the camp between rebels opposing the regime of President Bashar Assad and pro-government Palestinian militiamen, added the organization.

The Yarmuk camp is home to around 100,000 Palestinian refugees. State media have, in the past, reported that rebel forces had taken shelter in the camp, which could have prompted the attack.

A hospital in the area could not cope with the large number of the people injured in the airstrike and the ensuing fighting, added the Observatory.

Palestinians residing in Syria have largely stayed out of the 21-month conflict between Assad's troops and the insurgents seeking his ouster.

Rebels have recently been fighting government troops in and around Damascus, raising the possibility that Assad could lose his hold on the capital. Elsewhere, government troops and rebels were battling for control of key military installations in the northern province of Aleppo, reported the Observatory.

The fighting was taking place near a military academy named after Assad, as well as at a government intelligence building, it added. Fighting was also raging in the vicinity of a military airport on the outskirts of Aleppo, said the organization.

The two sides have been fighting for months in Aleppo, Syria's biggest city, with rebels claiming major gains.

The Local Coordination Committees, a network of opposition activists, said that at least 100 people were killed Sunday in Syria, mainly in and around Damascus. News from Syria is difficult to verify as authorities have barred most foreign media from the country.

The UN warned on Sunday that violence in Syria is set to raise the number of Syrian refugees to 1.8 million by 2013 and urged the international community to boost its response to a conflict "unlike any other."

UN Refugee Agency High Commissioner Antonio Guterres told reporters in the Jordanian capital Amman that the UN was preparing a new aid appeal to meet the needs of a projected 1.1 to 1.8 million Syrian refugees by the end of 2013. 'We are facing the possibility of 2013 being much more difficult than 2012 - you can believe the financial needs for 2013 will be substantially higher," Guterres said.

In a regional tour earlier this month, UN chief Ban Ki-moon warned that the ongoing funding gap is hurting efforts to provide the basic needs of some 500,0000 registered Syrian refugees in Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq. Earlier on Sunday, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said the rebels in Syria cannot emerge victorious from the 21-month-long conflict.

Nasrallah, a staunch ally of Assad, said: "The situation in Syria is getting more complicated - but anyone who thinks the armed opposition can settle the situation on the ground is very, very mistaken."

Syrian rebels accuse the Shi'ite group of sending fighters to Syria to help Assad, who is trying to crush a revolt against his rule. The group denies these accusations.

Israel National News is reporting Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyuhu for supporting Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney during the last election. Mr. Emanuel made these remarks, according to INN, at the Saban Forum in Washington on Saturday:

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu over what is perceived as his public support of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the last election, Channel 2 News reported on Sunday. According to the report, Emanuel, a former White House Chief of Staff, said during a closed session at the Saban Forum in Washington that "Netanyahu supported the wrong candidate in the U.S. elections and lost."

Emanuel also said that the White House expects that Netanyahu’s treatment of President Barack Obama will be different, especially at this time. He said the President was not willing to accept degrading treatment by the Israeli Prime Minister. "It is inconceivable that the Prime Minister would behave the way Netanyahu is behaving,” said Emanuel, according to Channel 2. Managing editor of Foreign Policy magazine Blake Hounshell tweeted on Saturday: Rahm Emanuel apparently said earlier today that Netanyahu had bet on Romney winning the election and lost.

According to New Yorker Magazine, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert slammed Romney for going to a fundraiser in Israel during the campaign that was hosted by Romney donor Sheldon Adelson, who also owns a pro-Netanyhu newspaper: (bolding is mine)

Olmert, who has a legacy to defend and an ego to feed, was clear and alive, but even when he was right on the issues, he undermined himself with his bombast. He rightly slammed Netanyahu for giving Obama a “slap in the face” over the weekend and mocked the prime minister for pretending to be friends with Obama after being his “enemy” in the Presidential campaign just a few weeks ago.” Olmert called Mitt Romney’s campaign trip to Israel—which featured a fundraiser with Sheldon Adelson, who also owns a pro-Netanyahu newspaper—completely “inappropriate…It was made to create the impression among Jewish American voters that Romney was riding to the White House on the shoulders of Israel.” And yet he undermined himself in every self-intoxicated gesture and self-adoring rhetorical turn.

Olmert also violated the rules of the conference by dragging something that was off the record onto the record. He accurately, if generally, described how, earlier in the day, Rahm Emanuel, the mayor of Chicago and Obama’s former chief of staff, had spoken angrily and bluntly about the way Netanyahu has repeatedly betrayed the friendship of the United States, lecturing Obama in the Oval Office and now, after the U.S. had underwritten the Iron Dome anti-missile system, supported the operation in Gaza, and voted Israel’s way in the U.N., embarrassing the Obama Administration by taking punitive actions against the Palestinian Authority. The attendees are mainly government officials, present and former; business people; institute-niks; a few reporters. There are very few Arabs; this year the most notable exception was Salam Fayyad, the prime minister of the Palestinian Authority, though he didn’t stick around long, since the Palestinian Authority, thanks in large measure to Israel, is in grave peril, losing ground all the time to Hamas. Except for a few events, Chatham House rules obtain: meaning the official events are off the record. The presumption is that the incidental meetings are more important than the panels and speeches.

Britain is considering recalling its ambassador to Israel to protest at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to expand settlement building, a diplomatic source said on Monday.

Israel's Haaretz newspaper reported that France was also considering withdrawing its envoy.

Both embassies declined to comment on the reports, but the British issued a statement saying they had made clear they would not support strong Israeli retaliation to a U.N. vote last week that gave the Palestinians de facto recognition of statehood.

"The recent Israeli government decision to build 3,000 new housing units threatens the two-state solution and makes progress through negotiations harder to achieve," the British embassy in Tel Aviv said.

"We have called on the Israeli government to reconsider."

A diplomatic source, who declined to be named, said London would decide later in the day whether to recall its ambassador.

Such a move by both London and Paris would represent a severe diplomatic reproach to Netanyahu. Israel's Vice Prime Minister Moshe Yaalon told Israeli Army Radio he was not aware of any recall.

"I did not hear of this, either via the foreign ministry or the prime minister's office. Therefore I have a hard time believing it is true," he said.

Netanyahu has brushed off world condemnation of his latest settlement plans, which were announced on Friday just hours after the United Nations voted overwhelming to upgrade the Palestinians' diplomatic status.

"We will carry on building in Jerusalem and in all the places that are on the map of Israel's strategic interests," Netanyahu said on Sunday at a weekly cabinet meeting.

Besides authorizing 3,000 new homes in and around Jerusalem, the Israeli government also agreed to expedite planning work for thousands more homes on barren land near Jerusalem that critics say would kill off Palestinian hopes of creating a viable state.

In another blow to the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, Israel announced on Sunday it was withholding Palestinian tax revenues this month worth about $100 million.

Israel said it was taking the money to help cover a Palestinian debt of $200 million with the Israeli Electric Corporation.

Election Day Looms: Spark of Yosef -or- Revealing Armilos

Election Bibi is imminently looming. The only question with Bib's, is to which ruach does he prefer to sway his Messianism: to the side of good, a spark of Torah or to the side of evil, a manifestation of Armilos mamash.

Israel and her Zionism has one dimension that is head and shoulders above the rest; in Israel everyone who belongs here matters, and can matter to no end. Much like the Borg of Star Trek, it ironically allows anyone to come aboard, not fearing an alien threat, but to the contrary, it welcomes the challenge.

With this philosophy everyone who rises in Israel by the breath of God, impacts the State, and this impact can ultimately impact the World. With creators of the State, such as Ben Gurion and cronies, the state is forever being formed, while incorporating transcending and including holons of its very fabric.

Every once in a while, as the State morphs into the conglomerate that we know it of today [and hence it will continue to crystalize, something unique to this "blend of Judaism", making it a fit arena, despite its level of treif. bad light =bad kli, while good light = change kli into new kli] we find a religious spark that makes the machine go haywire. But again, by its very design, it must incorporate the "virus."

The holy virus into the meat called Israel I believe began with Rav Kook, to whom the Jewish of the Jewish State of Israel he is solely responsible for. Thus to be consistent from then on, Israel is forever Jewish, such is the animal called Zionism, i.e. he merited by his Lishma belonging to be an eternal influence, bringing the Light of Moshiach into the World through Zionism, albeit one of a serious Tumah, much like a real Para Adumah.

After Rav Kook we saw Meir Kahane influence a further development into Israel. If anyone altered Israel with a spiritual earthquake it is him! The greatest gift he bestowed [much like Rav Kook in this dynamic] was the implementation of Moshiach ben Yosef into the fabric of Israel. This was a death blwo to Israel and her Tumah, for with MBY Israel now had a spark of Kedusha into it, a form of Golum almost. Kahane was right they say, where he was the most right, was that MBY was coming into creation slowly slowly, showing the Israel Dream was becoming a beacon of Redemption. This, many thought before, but now it could be believed even more. Then he died - very Yosef-esque!

To continue this thread, and into our current matzav, is the hero Yoni Netanyahu. he would further cultivate by his very being, MBY into Israeli psyche, to the extent that Bibi openly says that it is Yoni's blood that drives him and fuels his anger. It is not a coincidence that Pollard's name is Yonatan, as MBY is relative to this name, going back to King David and Yonatan.

Bibi is treif Erev Rav lets get that straight. He is a glorified jailer, but to whom? The spark of Ben Yosef is becoming tangible and I believe Yoni was the last with that spark, and it drives Bibi into his Messianic grandeur, to which if you read between the lines, Bibi expresses the scenario, again, if we read Bibi. To put it bluntly, Yoni boils Bibi's blood. Bibi decides if its Kosher or trief - God help us all.

So here is Bibi, the Head of State, and he must make a choice, however this choice has come to him in a  very intimate setting. He must choose to bring the spark of MBY further into creation, until it reaches MBD, or does he siphon the Ko-ach for himself, robbing Hashem of this light, for his personal gain. This tresspassing would constitute being Armilos mamash.

Thus he has a choice, one that ironically is being issued by his own blood, literally. To allow Geulah to develop according to God's will, and therefore facilitate MBY in further manifestation, or attempt to "eat the internal spark" [nogah - chashmal - spark, derech klippah] and thereby materialize Armilos. If he chooses Armilos, he perpetuates MBY and his death by the hands of Armilos, of which MBD is certainly nearby, as the Gra says, "Yehuda saves Yosef." For Bibi the choice couldn't be any closer to home - on every front! His choices will fashion reality, Geulah, and the State. He can either help MBY do his job, and be remembered as a good guy in history, or he can rob for his fame and claim the title of Armilos and help destroy Israel.

Whatever he chooses, he is involved with the sage of MBY, and it will live on with or without Armilos. The State will be affected for all of time no matter what; but Bibi can be a positive change and liberation for MBY, as opposed to his death much like Kahane suffered. I think Bibi will choose Armilos, as is predicted. With that said, Israel is headed for Armilos waters, the spark of MBY will further manifest, and the next arena will be born.

From Kook, to Kahane, to Yoni, to the next spark; eventually MBY will join forces with MBD. Until then we play out these little gilgul games with sparks, vessels, and souls. Let's hope Bibi recognizes this spark and where it comes from. He must realize it is not his, for he has no merit; but he can do a great tovah for it, through acting on its behalf, and allowing for the Final Redeemer to come forward, MBD. If he misses the mark, he will go down as prime operative of the Other Side.

One day, MBY will come, and the State will be butel to God. Until then the treifah zach continues, going through one spark of MBY at a time. The only question left is an age old question - Until When?!

Bibi faces election, one that he secured; he revealed his hand at the same time. Now its for real, much like Obama over there. The plan is: win the election, and then implement. Will Bibi play Obamanamics 2.0: "the best way to destroy a state is to be negligent to the point of internal decay and destruction" - Obama's mastery, or will he realize that he must act, and that this whole spark is about activity! - thereby saving Israel.

The job is probably only for the Messiah; thus we know the drill. In the meantime, election looms. D-day looms. Thank God there is a Moshiach to get us out of this, and as a person rather than a spark, we wait under the hands of God, not some guy named Bibi. The real Man has a role to fill, one that began with Rav Kook, and has been developing through Israel's Life post '48. It would seem the job is ready to be filled, and that's what this is all about. When the Sitra Achra is ready, then the side of Holiness is as well. And for that it is as Jeremiah says: "There is Hope for your End."

In his statement to the nation Wednesday night announcing the acceptance of a cease-fire deal with Hamas in the south, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu effectively ended an eight-day military campaign and began an election one.

And the words he chose to tell the nation that the fighting with Hamas has – at least temporarily – ended, also foreshadowed what will be the theme of his campaign: providing security while retaining international support and avoiding an all out war.

When Netanyahu opened the winter session of the Knesset in October by calling for new elections, he stressed that during his tenure security had been restored to Israel as far fewer rockets fell, and far fewer Israelis were killed by terrorism, than under his immediate predecessors.

Further, he stressed, in the seven-and-a-half years total that he has served as prime minister, both during his first term and his second, the nation did not march off to war.

By agreeing to a cease-fire, Netanyahu kept this record intact, and it is a record that flies squarely in the face of the perception held of him by many abroad as a reckless warmonger with an impatient trigger finger.

But that perception is not born of reality, nor the one he wants to take into the campaign. Tough but responsible, yes; Dirty Harry with the Middle East’s most powerful army, definitely not.

“Since its establishment, the State of Israel has faced complex challenges in the Middle East, and in recent years we have all seen how that complexity has increased a great deal,” Netanyahu said Wednesday night.

“Under these conditions we need to steer the ship of state responsibly and with wisdom and must take into account numerous considerations, both military and diplomatic ones. That is how a responsible government acts, and that is how we acted this time as well. We employed military might along with diplomatic judgment.”

And there is the likely theme of his campaign – military might with diplomatic prudence, restoring quiet, albeit temporarily, while retaining international legitimacy.

His statement Wednesday night was also punctuated with praise for US President Barack Obama’s unwavering support, a sentiment surely heartfelt. It is also a sentiment that he wants the electorate to hear just two months before an election: “I can, and do, work with the US president effectively.”

The cease-fire that went into effect Wednesday night, putting an end to the latest round of fighting, will be met in the country with a mixture of relief and anxiety.

The relief is the fact that it will put an end to a dreadful week in which six Israelis were killed, hundreds wounded, a million people were confined to a few seconds from their bomb shelters, and millions more carried on with their lives under the threat of a rocket landing on their car, home or kids’ school. At times like these, a return to routine seems blessed.

The anxiety is because of a widespread recognition that this cease-fire is just the temporary lull before the next round. Operation Cast Lead bought a degree of deterrence and quiet for four years. The hope is that Operation Pillar of Defense will have done the same.

Netanyahu had a difficult tightrope to walk so soon before the election. On the one hand, he needed to restore a modicum of security to his citizens. On the other hand, he did not want – just weeks before the vote – to risk a full-fledged war that could easily sour and be used against him.

In a mere two months, the public will determine whether he succeeded in that task.

Israel dealt a body blow to Islamic Jihad Monday, killing one of its most senior Palestinian leaders and exacerbating tensions between Jihad, the second largest militant group in Gaza, and Hamas. The result could make a ceasefire with Israel that much harder to reach.

Rames Harb’s charred body was carried out of a 14-storey office building in central Gaza, just before 4 o’clock in the afternoon. About 45 minutes earlier, the building, a media centre that is home to Palestinian and international journalist organizations in Gaza, was struck by an Israeli missile.

Mr. Harb and four Jihad colleagues were in their third-floor office when the missile came through their front window.

The colleagues were seriously injured, but Mr. Harb’s clothes were blown right off him and his body burned from top to bottom.

He probably never knew what hit him, but his organization does.

Standing amid the broken glass and shattered concrete shortly after the attack, journalists from the building said Israeli authorities had warned them the day before to stay away from their offices. Mr. Harb and his associates must not have gotten the message. They were alone in the building when the attack came. And while Jihad members are livid at Israel for killing their Gaza City leader, they also are angry at Hamas for the ruling group’s apparent willingness to accept Israel’s terms for a ceasefire.

It verges on collaboration, they say.

Israel bombed dozens more targets in the Gaza Strip and militants in the Gaza Strip fired 110 rockets at southern Israel on Monday, causing no casualties. Intense diplomatic efforts to craft a ceasefire agreement continued, with United Nations Secretary-General Ban ki-moon shuttling from Cairo to Jerusalem and President Barack Obama pressing Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi to use his influence with Hamas leaders to broker a stop to rocket launches from Gaza.

But Hamas, which has governed the densely populated Gaza Strip, is not the only player.

Islamic Jihad says it wants to fight the Israelis, not just fire rockets that get shot down. Ismalic Jihad members are said to have been more involved in combat with Israeli forces when they invaded Gaza in January, 2009, and said to have suffered more severe casualties.

They also say they won’t agree to stop firing rockets in the future, a position that would bring them into real conflict with Hamas should it agree to an Israeli demand that Hamas guarantee that all other militias in the Gaza Strip stop firing rockets and mortars into Israel.

‪Hamas officials insist they are not selling out to Israel when they indicate they are prepared to deal.

“The only ceasefire Hamas will agree to is one in which Israel agrees to stop all aggression and to end the siege [on Gaza], explained Mushir Masry, a leading Hamas MP. If Israel does that, he said, “it’s a deal worth having.”

‪Nabil Shaath, a prominent minister in the Palestinian Authority based in Ramallah, made a rare visit to his native Gaza Monday to wave the PA flag and “to show Israel it can’t divide the Palestinians [between those in Gaza and those in the West Bank].”

“We are one people,” he said, “and we’ll stay that way.”

On the subject of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, he agreed that it would be good for all Palestinians, “provided Israel is made to adhere to it, too.”

Not every senior Palestinian official is keen to have a ceasefire, however, at least not yet.

‪Ayman Batniji, spokesman for the Hamas police force and a charismatic imam at a downtown Gaza mosque, was wandering through Shifa Hospital Monday afternoon.

Since police headquarters had been destroyed in the wee hours of Sunday morning – the new facility had only been open for six days – Mr. Batniji, dressed in a stylish brown leather jacket, had been without an office. His views, however, have a home among many in Hamas’s security forces.

On the subject of an Israeli invasion, he all but declared: Bring ’em on.

“It will be a big disaster for the Zionists if they enter Gaza,” Mr. Batniji said. “We’ve got 10,000 men willing to sacrifice themselves to kill as many of the Jews as possible.”

“These people [the Israelis] never learn,” Mr. Batniji said. “They lost in 2000 [when they pulled out of Lebanon]; they lost in 2005 [when they withdrew their forces from Gaza]; they lost in 2006 [when they retreated from Lebanon, again] and they lost in 2009 [when they ended their attack on Hamas in Gaza].

“They will lose even bigger this time,” he predicted.

Clearly, it is not an easy path for Hamas to agree to a ceasefire.

Geopolitical strategy is a terrible and beautiful thing at once. It is time we connected the dots on the great game in the Middle East.

The Arab Spring started in North Africa. Egypt was the trigger and the opening salvo was Libya. Syria erupted shortly after Libya, slowly consuming Syria President Bashar al-Assad’s war machine in a pitched war against an externally-funded patchwork of insurgents. The Gulf monarchies were ultimately untouched and Iraq was left to stew in its own mess. Predictably, the Syria debacle is on the verge of spilling over into Lebanon and this consequently has lit the fuse in Gaza, with Israel already itching for a ground offensive in the pesky territory.

Democracy is not the objective of the “Arab Spring.”

It is about Iran.

What we’re looking at is a gradual devolution of behind-the-scenes terrorism and its consequent dirty tricks towards a systemic war with Iran.

Here’s how it works: for Israel to even have a chance of being on the map, it needs an umbilical cord to the United States, and to have unstable neighbours. Thus, we have the endless cycle of surprise attacks courtesy of Israel, kleptocrats like Saddam who think they can get even, bloody coup d’états and civil wars, and for colour – the target practice parties Hamas and the IAF organize on each other on a fairly regular basis.

Really, a classic imperial strategy of divide and conquer – prod and poke, stoke the fires, sign a peace treaty, rinse and repeat. Only now, the risk of playing with the matches is that it might set off the whole pile of TNT.

In Iran, for all the polemics since 1979, the Ayatollahs have adopted an intelligent foreign policy of official defense, while doing the exact same thing as the West – proxies and subversive terrorism tactics. The regime has been frustrating, because we can’t find a reason to fight them, and that is the bane of all the hawks in Tel Aviv and Washington.

So, how to prevent Iran’s regional hegemony?

First, confuse the ally system by messing it up. Stability in the Middle East is Israel’s biggest security problem.

Second, the presence of Iranian spec-ops in Syria is already dangerously close to providing a reason for retaliation against Iran. With Hamas firing Iranian missiles and Hezbollah potentially getting involved, it is near certain that Iran is probably going to be recognized as an aggressor in a matter of days or weeks.

Third, the timing is convenient too – after the American elections, President Obama would have no choice, but to pick a side. Israel is otherwise doomed on its own, so that’s a no-brainer. But, the price for that may be Egypt.

The wild card in all of this is indeed Egypt, because President Mohamad Morsi is currently sending officials in Gaza in a moral show of support for the Palestinians. That may, or may not, be followed by a revamp of the Egyptian air force with Russian aircraft. Again.

Perhaps overthrowing Mubarak wasn’t the brightest idea we ever had.

To conclude: we’re observing a chain reaction with a transparent objective – war with Iran. The American elections were the timing trigger, so regardless of the winner, the rapid deterioration of regional security would put the president in a bind, with no choice other than supporting Israel. Engaging Iran’s allies eventually draws in Iran to the point where a declaration of a war on defensive grounds paints Iran as the aggressor. In the macabre aftermath to untold, one thing is certain: thousands of people are going to die.

At least the Arab Spring had one positive outcome: all these people are going to be democratically killed.

The State of Israel is Now Being Targeted

Well, I Guess I can say I told you so.

Every place in the world is going to be dangerous, America, Europe, Israel, the Arab countries, Africa, Australia, Asia. Every place is going to be dangerous.

Israel is now being targeted. How it will develop exactly, I don’t know. I do know that there are many outside influences here causing this to happen, just like the storm Sandy was a result of planning. True the greatest and only planner is HaKodosh Boruch Hu and He is going to direct the Reshoim straight into oblivion and He is in control of everything even though the Reshoim are sure that they are in control. Soon the Reshoim will have a great surprise, but by the time they understand what’s happening they will be gone, gone from existence.

The American Jews think that they can get back to “business as usual” even though the storm Sandy destroyed so many Jewish Frum homes and caused so much damage.  Even though things are sort of getting back to a kind of normalcy, still the marks are deep and very very painful. Still most Yidden want to get back to life the way it was. And for those who want to ignore the message Hashem is trying to send us, then I suggest you don’t get too happy too soon, because America is in for much more than Frankenstorm.  The Yidden will be very much part of the tragedies that await the United States of America.

So I just want to tell Jews here in Eretz Yisroel and in the whole world that the suffering is only beginning. The outside suffering is only beginning. When I say outside suffering, I mean like what the Arabs are doing now, the wars. But the inside suffering all over the world has been going on for a long time and also here in Eretz Yisroel. The ill and the dying from so-called natural causes is a heartbreak to say the least. Also there are people who are under terrible pressure financially just to feed their children and this is a pain that’s hard to live with. There are children that have gone off the Derech and this is a tragedy for Jewish families that is hard to describe.

We have been living in the most wealthy society ever, with the most material toys that were ever in existence, but our suffering is no less than the former generations who had so much less of this Gashmiusdik world. So we are not really better off. In many instances worse off.

The suffering will continue, it will continue with a lot of force. Many people will be suffering for many different reasons but the outside suffering is starting now. The suffering that comes from outside incidents, whether it will be war, famine, drought, or storms etc. Whatever it might be it will be an outside suffering. Until now Hashem tried to bring us back with personal sufferings, but that does not seem to work because people are so involved in the Gashmius that even death they ignore, but now they will be frightened.

All over the world there will be a great fear. There are maniacs ruling, or think that they are ruling the world, so we can never know from where anything will come from. When unbalanced people try to rule, they have all kinds of crazy ideas and we can’t really follow crazy ideas, so we’re at the mercy of a group of mentally ill very intelligent people that have much control over the world. And we also think they are controlling the world but really they are also puppets, and Hashem has sent them to help Am Yisroel do complete and absolute Teshuva. However Am Yisroel is full of Erev Rav. Even the most Frum could be Erev Rav.

Again I will tell you an Erev Rav has no pity on a fellow Jew and that’s the greatest sign. He can do the most terrible things to another Jew with out any remorse. He could have a fellow Jew put in jail. He could have a Jew killed. He could beat up a Jew, no problem. However when he does it, he does it as if it’s LeShem Shomayim, but he has no feeling for Shomayim either or for HaKodosh Boruch Hu. He may pretend to have, but it doesn’t mean he does.

Erev Rav are also good actors. You just have to keep your eyes open and try to see the Simonim (the signs) of all of these characteristics. So what can I say? We’re in a very confused world. Many people are just crazed with the desire for power, wanting to compete with HaKodosh Boruch Hu, Chas VeSholom, for total control over the universe.

That can never be. He, HaKodosh Boruch Hu with a flick of His finger, so-to-speak can destroy them. With one little breath, so-to-speak. He can destroy them all. Here in Eretz Yisroel we’re on the verge of a war, on the threshold of war. Will it continue? Will there be a ceasefire or not, like all the other times? I don’t really know, but my feeling is that if there is a ceasefire it’s not going to last. We’re going into a time of war. The whole world is going into a time of upheavals and wars. The cruelty of peacetime is going to exchange itself for the cruelty of wartime, and therefore very soon this has to be the end of the world as we know it. If there is a ceasefire that only means that it will take a little longer, that only means that Hashem is giving us a warning and that soon the real thing will begin.

If it continues, then I suggest to all of you to start doing Teshuva fast, because there is no time. We’re really coming to the end. If there is a peace treaty or ceasefire then use the time really to dig down deep into your lives and get rid of all the Aveiros that you have done. Look for forgiveness from HaKodosh Boruch Hu and from every Jew that you hurt, lied to, swindled etc. Come closer to Hashem. Hold on tight because it’s going to be a very, very rough ride and if you dare to loose your grip on the spiritual rope that connects us to HaKodosh Boruch Hu then you’ll fall into oblivion.

I only want to tell you these things because everyone is very nervous about what’s happening and very frightened. When the air raid warnings start to go off in Tel Aviv and Yerushalayim then people really get jittery. When people are killed in Kiryat Malachi, it’s scary but it’s still the South and it’s sad, but still we can continue our daily lives.  However when there is an air raid warning in Tel Aviv and Yerushalayim that’s a different story, and then of course we still have the danger from the north and the danger from Egypt and the danger from every country in the world. No one loves us at all and everyone hates a Yid. All the Goyim hate us. All the Goyim are against us even if they pretend they are not.

The State of Israel has not been successful in changing the attitude of the Goyim against the Jews. The Goyim still look upon us as dirty Jews. No matter what we do we’ll always be dirty Jews, until the Geula. And then everything will be different and we’ll again be the royal sons and daughters of our king HaKodosh Boruch Hu. But until then to the world we’re only dirty Jews. Jews that have no right to anything and certainly not to believe in HaKodosh Boruch Hu.

The Goyim hate it. The Amolaikim hate it, and the Erev Rav despise it. They can not stand the love that Hashem has for His chosen people. The Goyim can not stand HaBen Yaker Li Efraim. They can’t tolerate it. They’re jealous and they hate us. Therefore anti-Semitism is blossoming all over the world and the worst anti-Semitism is the Jew’s hate of his fellow Jews, and that’s absolutely the worst sin. That’s the thing HaKodosh Boruch Hu can’t stand so-to-speak. And He will destroy anyone who continues this way of action, going against another Jew. Also there are Jews that despise other Jews because of their love of HaKodosh Boruch Hu, and because they are constantly trying to become closer to the Truth by trying to detach themselves from the plastic Yiddishkeit and trying to live as our forefathers who were great Tzaddikim once did.

Those Yidden Frum or not Frum that despise a fellow Jew because he tries to be close to HaKodosh Boruch Hu are obviously not Yiddishe Neshomahs. Therefore those people will disappear from the earth. We don’t have to help HaKodosh Boruch Hu to get rid of them. The only way we can help is by doing Teshuva, davening and begging Him to help us, and to hold on to that spiritual rope that connects us to Him.

Tatti: What do you have to say about the three people of Kiryat Malachi that where unfortunately killed today?

Moishe’la: Those Jews that were killed in Kiryat Malachi were a Korbon Tzibur. They where born for this. They were born to be an example. They where born in order to die Al Kiddush Hashem. The Yidden that were killed and the ones that have been injured up until now were injured and killed in order to make the Yidden afraid and make Yidden want to do Teshuva and make Yidden take notice, because without tragedies unfortunately the Yidden don’t take notice.

They were Korbonos they are Tzaddikim.

I also want to tell you that America is in great danger, great great danger, and all the people in America are in great danger, no less then the people in Eretz Yisroel.  The people in Europe are also in great danger no less the in Eretz Yisroel. But the Yidden in these countries all over the world are in the greatest danger from Anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism will cause great loss of life and certainly of wealth.

I’m warning all the Yidden that if you don’t have the Kedusha and the Kesher with HaKodosh Boruch Hu to be a shield for you, then you’re going to be in big trouble. Since the Kedusha has been discarded by most of us and the world is full of Tumah and evil then we don’t have the same protection that we once had. And therefore we must come back to HaKodosh Boruch Hu. Come back even though we think we’re not far --- we are. Because the Gashmius has confused us and we don’t realize how far away we have have gotten from the Truth. We must come back, must, must come back. We must hold on to that spiritual rope that ties us to HaKodosh Boruch Hu and He will shake the rope very hard Kivyochol, and we’ll feel that we can barely hold on, but still we must hold on, Hashem Yaazor. After that Moshiach will come, and the third Bais HaMikdosh will be built and we’ll be Makriv Korbonos.

I have nothing more to say now; we have to wait till things develop.

I want to reiterate that  Jews all over the world should really start thinking about packing their bags and coming to Eretz Yisroel, because Jews from all over the world will soon be hated and assaulted. Eretz Yisroel will not be safe but it is Eretz Yisroel, and if we show Hashem that we are doing Teshuva and we are MeKabel Ol Malchus Shomayim, if we show Hashem that we are willing even to go one step further and come to Eretz Hakodesh and continue to hold on to that spiritual rope that connects us to Hashem, Hashem will save us all.
